[solved] Colliding magic
« on: August 13, 2011, 08:28:08 PM »
So, I've been wondering this, especially as I was thinking about Ari and Kendrick's recent history with the battle and all. What happens when two spells collide when the casting wands aren't like Harry and Voldemort's Do they keep going, or explode, or does the stronger one continue, or what? Also, what happens if elemental magic collides? I'm guessing the interaction works like it would in nature?

I assumed both spells happen as there is nothing stopping that from happening.

Elemental magic just doesn't "collide". There is no beams of flashing light and no scenario where something like the matching wands can happen. If two elementals fight and one is trying to burn the other while one is trying to freeze the other... those things might both happen if nobody bothers to dodge.

Well, what happens if someone uses Typh Cubo and someone else uses Hor Cubo and you've got a beam of water and a stream of air that run into each other? >> I guess that's not realistic for fighting, but you know.

lots of water on the floor? I guess the water beam would be dispersed.
