[solved] A quick question about ages and birthdays

If someone turns eleven in October, then they'll receive their Hogwarts letter the following summer and attend the school when they're nearly twelve, is that correct?

They'll get their letter on their birthday (in October), but yes, they'll attend school when they're nearly twelve. :)
