As he listened to the complaints from his bar staff his mind wondered back to the weeks that had passed. He hadn't told his sister that he was engaged, or that Ivana was living with him in a sense. IT hadn't been made official but she did have a key to his home. Things with them had gotten better since the accident as he called it now. There was so much to share his mind was in overdrive at all times. He could remember how he'd distanced himself from his little sister. Keer had been easier to hide from, only needing to see her every now and then because of school. And she didn't know his moods that well just yet or at least he hoped. Pushing himself up from his chair as the crowd moved about to do their work he looked around at them all.

The complaints were things Etain usually handled, but under orders her position had been put on hold. She was after all carrying what could very well be the next air to the Regan throne. Skylar was his son, this was a fact but he knew better than most the council would never allow him to sit in Aeric's seat. Unless he and his soon to be wife had a child of their own, Etain's son may be given that great responsibility. Though he put the fact that his sister knew the business better than him in more ways then one on the table. They seemed to consider a woman running the family if and when Aeric ever stepped down. Whether it be willing or otherwise. Green eyes dropped down to look at his watch before he grabbed his suit jacket before vanishing in thin air. Apparating was becoming easier, like breathing.

Walking slowly he pulled his jacket on his shoulders, lifting his hands afterward to pull his hair back into a ponytail. Lunch, even though he wasn't really hungry, with Etain at her favorite place in London. As he walked in his eyes scanned the place before looking at his watch again. He was early, or maybe by being early he was late. Who knew? Walking over to a random table he dropped down shifting his chair to have his back to the wall. He needed to see everyone that walked up, take note of everyone who came and went. He ordered a beer while he waited on his sister. He knew she could already be there watching him from the shadows. He was alone having sent Niko to discreetly follow Ivana. Her safety was important to him being that he had nearly lost her. A day he never spoke of, the memories seemed to haunt his sleep from time to time.

He often found himself sleeping on the couch with a glass of scotch in his hand. Never drinking just pondering the idea to do so. When asked he was working on something important and fell asleep. It didn't happen often but it happened enough. But those thoughts weren't on his mind, his nephew was. Did the little guy need anything, did Etain need anything. Was there going to be a baby shower, did she have things she wanted but didn't have time to buy? Was Tony being weird like Aeric was told most men are. Was Mama Ri there when she called without her having to wait? So many questions but the main one on his mind was; how was she doing. He missed her greatly that much was for sure and today would be the start to rebuilding the strong bond they once held. New relationships had seemed to take most of their time, though they saw each other still. It wasn't like it was when they were fresh out of school shopping and having water fights without Dom's approval. She was in the simplest terms his best friend.

With a sip of his beer he looked down to see what he just mind have a taste for when they actually ordered.

Etain frolicked down the street to her favorite restaurant. No...joy and cheerfulness seemed to exude from her pores as she waded through the large crowd of muggles. Today was a good day. Not only was she going to see her big brother but she was going to EAT. Nom. Etain was on an anticpatory cuddle high, and nothing could stop her. Tanned hands rested on the creaminess of her dress that emphasized the large bundle of hunger that she was carrying. She didn't want to admit it outloud, but she enjoyed the wide ranges of taste that her baby boy was making her crave. Pad Thai and hummus had been her midnight snack that she'd begged Tony for.

She didn't notice the people smiling at her as she made her way to the tiny little restaurant. Her cheerful humming and bouncing, made the hostess beam brightly at her as she asked for Etain's reservations. Big golden eyes widened briefly as she tried to think of the name Aeric would have put the reservation under if he'd even bothered to make one. Ever since he'd become 'The Regan' he didn't have to bother with mundane things that regular people had to bother with. Lines and waiting and such were beyond him. "...Regan?" She said, her head tilted."He's a tall guy...big green eyes..." She watched the girl blush a little and rolled her eyes. Aeric had probably charmed that pants off of her.

She cheerfully followed the girl to the back of the restaurant and a menu was placed in the other seat across from his. When the hostess left, Etain just stared at her brother, drinking up the sight of him. He was restless and he was sad, and he needed to be cuddled. She fairly shook with excitement, wanting to hug him tight and tell him that she was going to make him have the best day EVER.

"TOR!" She squealed, bouncing in her flats. "Up! Hug! UP!!" She sounded like his son, and their nephew. But she wanted a hug. Right now. "I missed you so much! Did you order yet? I want a water. And a lemonade. ANd the biscuits with the gravy on one side, but dry on the other....just for snacks though." She danced in place, making the other patrons laugh as they watched her.

Maybe a sandwhich. No maybe soup. Green eyes roamed over the list of possible meals and it seemed like he had a major problem on his hands. What to eat? Pursing his lips for a second he shifted back in his seat to sip from his beer. He watched for a second couples walking in and out of the door. Families laughing and talking at various tables. And for a second he allowed his eyes to linger on the hostess as she seated someone a bit longer than he should have. He returned the smile she gave before looking at his menu once more. A few moments passed and his head snapped up as he heard people approaching.

He stood, like a gentleman, as Etain said his name before asking for a hug. Smiling, he looked at his sister for a long moment. She looked happy and at peace. He had seen Etain happy before, but this was different. She was truly happy with every aspect around her it seemed. She glowed as they say some women do. As he moved to hug her he gave a laugh. "I missed you too." Pulling back from the hug he shifted to pull out her chair for her. "Well you can have anything you want, so go wild." Once she was sitting comfortably he walked over to sit in his chair. Green eyes resting on her for a long moment before he spoke. "How have you been little sister? I feel like I'm so busy I'm missing parts of your life..."

He sounded somewhat curious as he spoke, as if his own words were a question. "Do you need anything? Even if its not for the baby, I want to know." The role of big brother had not always suited him well. He could remember the times when he and the woman across from him had not gotten along. But things changed, he realized he had been blaming her for something she had not done. He remembered the time he punched Rusty in the face for talking ill on her name. Or how he nearly fought Darren in the great hall for suggesting things about her. He loved her it was plain and simple. She had always been there for him. From the shocking news that he was a father to finding out Dom had been living two lives.

"I have a lot to tell you today, but right now i want to hear all about you. How is everything? What have you been up to? How is married life?" He wanted to make sure she was happy at home as well as everywhere else.
