Parthenia hadn't spent much time in one spot recently, which was why she reluctantly made her way to the seaside town that Crux Lachapelle had gotten a beach house in. She didn't intend to stay long, but she packed up everything that she'd brought to London with her and made her way to the Chunnel, knowing that international apparation was often both illegal and dangerous. Parthenia didn't really mind using muggle transportation, but trains were her favorite. Once she got back to France, after her fruitless attempt to find the boy she'd seen in a vision, she would be able to apparate the distance needed to get to Crux and her roommates. She would make her way back to London in the future, and if she didn't see the wizard (or so she assumed) dying, slashed open and bleeding in a ditch, maybe she was never meant to.

When she landed on the beach, she checked all her limbs out of habit. She had a great fear of being splinched, and nearly always looked to see if her arms were still attached. For this reason, she chose to get as close as possible to her chosen destination before apparating. But she was sure that one of these weird beach homes were the one Crux chose to be the new place she lived. She only had to look for the number "235" among the metal and plastic plackards, she was sure she would find the place soon. After a few minutes of walking, she saw the house in the distance. As she neared it, she got more and more anxious. What if Crux wasn't home? What if her other roommates were weird, what if they didn't mesh well, what if they hated her? The questions spun around in her head like a wheel, like two gears grinding against one another. She took two deep breaths before opening the door and walking inside. She shut the door behind her, as silently as she possibly could, making a chime on the door slap against the wood, and then clink against each other. She winced.

"Bonjour!" She twinkled, walking in the front door and searching for a friendly face, looked timidly around corners and stepped silently. The last thing she needed was someone to come downstairs with a wand drawn or someone having sex on the sofa. She placed her backpack, a large thing that she had charmed to make even larger inside, on the ground in the kitchen and resigned to taking a seat in a chair that was... broken? A large chunk was missing from one of the legs when one looked and closer inspected the object, but it stood upright as if nothing was wrong.

She was impressed...

Oh, Saturday. Bodhi thought to himself about his fondness for the day of the week and wondered what made it different than all the others in his preferential list. The line of work Bodhi was in allowed him to spend most his mornings just as he had this particular one, but something was unexplainably unique - as if the fact that it fell on the 'weekend' made everything more exciting. Waves were better, food was better, beer was better, girls were better. This Saturday proved to be no different for the long haired man who was currently parading around the kitchen, apron on and utensils charmed to mix all of his not so carefully planned ingredients. Hyped up on an energy high, Bodhi had decided to make an inaugural breakfast for his new roommates. His cooking skills were less than enviable, but he didn't bother to worry about that. Pancakes were pancakes.

This surge of energy was no doubt a direct result of his early morning surf session. Bodhi was up with the morning sun, his wet suit on and hair in a messy bun on the top of his head, ready to conquer the water. The man had really grown fond of Hossegor and it's beaches - particularly, the good waves they had been experiencing since his arrival. The inhabitants of the beach town were lovely, as well. By inhabitants, Bodhi really meant the French women and their sexy accents.

An hour later, his hair and limbs dusted with a layer of flour, Bodhi was putting the finishing touches on his lackadaisical meal when he heard the door open. Bonjour! Damn French. The Australian man, on a whim, had agreed to move in to a house on the beach that his friend Crux had planned to rent with some friends. Bodhi used the term 'friend' loosely, of course. They met on the beach one night and Bodhi, ever the impulse decision maker, decided she was trustworthy enough to live with. Besides, she had cool tattoos - how bad could it be? He had only moved in a couple of days ago, but Bodhi made himself right at home immediately (no surprise there). In fact, he was already comfortable enough to be naked around the house (also, no surprise). This particular morning was no exception, under the feminine apron that clearly didn't belong to him was just skin.

Assuming it was Crux coming back from somewhere, Bodhi jumped out of the kitchen enthusiastically, sending some flour from the bun on top of his head flying. "I made breakfast!" He declared, waving around a big spoon, visibly proud of himself. "Oh... shit," Bodhi finally realized the naked skin clean of any ink was certainly not Crux's, and the blonde hair was a far cry from her own dark locks. "Well, I suppose you can have some too," Bodhi grinned, assuming the attractive woman was one of his new roommates friends. "I'm Bodhi, sorry just moved in," The Australian reached out a flour covered hand to greet the stranger.

Genevieve was both depressed and excited to be moving out of her flat in Paris for a beach house. She was nervous because she didn't know if the people she was going to be living with would like her. She was shy and withdrawn, it was hard to break through her shell but she wanted to be friendlier. The reason she was depressed was because she wasn't choosing to move out of her current home. She had received an eviction notice because she could no longer afford the rent, her parents had been helping her but she wanted to start doing things on her own. Obviously paying rent that was that high in rent, wasn't her strong suit. So she had found another place, an ad in the paper, that allowed new room mates for a lot less rent. The house was on the beach and she was excited, she hadn't really been to the beach before so she couldn't wait to see what it was like to live on it. She would be out there every night to see the sunset, maybe even up early enough to see it rise.

She had packed up all of her things and had them shipped over before she was ready to leave herself. She took one more look around her flat before stepping out and locking the door for the last time. Her feet carried her to the office and she dropped off the key, thank the manager for understanding and not suing her for the rent she owed. She nodded to the man and left the office before heading off to a safe place that she could apparete. Although she hated it, it always made her feel woozy and she usually ended up on her knees of face because she couldn't plant her feet well enough not to fall. She took a deep breath and let it out before traveling to the new place she would call home. It was still pretty early in the morning and when she landed on the beach she fell into the sand. It was to be expected but at least it was a soft landing. She looked up and made sure that no one saw her before standing up and dusting herself off.

She shook her head at her clumsiness and then looked around. The place was beautiful!! Her eyes widened as she took in the view before looking around for the house number. When her eyes found it, she grinned and slipped her shoes off. She carried them in her hand the rest of the way to her new house before walking inside. The view inside was just an awkward sight. There was a man, with long hair pulled up into a bun standing naked in a doorway. He was covered in flour and she instantly turned a deep shade of red and covered her eyes. Her accent came out thick as she spoke. "Oh....I....I'm so sorry!" She averted her gaze and turned to the woman next to her and her eyes widened. She knew the woman standing next to her! They had been friends for quite some time and Gen couldn't help but smile.

"Parthenia?!" Her eyes looked scanned the woman and she let out a sigh. Someone she knew and someone that would most definitely get along with her! It was like a dream come true. "I did not know you were moving in here as well!" She pursed her lips and closed her eyes before turning back to the man that was naked. "I am...sorry...I am Genevieve....one of the roommates..." She bit her lip and peaked an eyelid open before reclosing them.

The ocean, though colder than the waters she was used to, had blown a bit of salt into her hair, and though it was now stringy, she found herself self-consciously touching it as her eyes fell upon a stranger, bare assed and wearing only an apron. "Sacrebleu," She muttered, too used to speaking French to even bother with English for the time being. She'd just laid her eyes on this young man, and she'd already seen much more of him that she'd ever seen of any man.

As he introduced himself, she smiled slightly, trying to keep her eyes on his face, or his hair. There was so much of it! It was so sun soaked, so rugged. Parthenia loved it.

"Bonjour," She said, again forgetting her English, which was extremely rusty nowadays as it was. She moved out of the doorway and into the kitchen, trying to find a spot to put down her bag, weighed down by a Crystal Ball given to her as a gift. She toted it around just in case she ever figured out just how to work it properly. She looked back over at him, feeling less shy about his bottom protruding from around the back of the apron, and glancing at it quickly, she looked up to him and said, "Bodhi?" Failing miserably at pronunciation. She'd never heard a name like that before. It must be some sort of new-age name. Parents were weird. Forgetting how to introduce herself properly, she merely said, "Parthenia" in response.

Just as she introduced herself, another face came through the door. Red hair and bright eyes, Parthenia recognized Gen right away.

"Mon Chéri!" She squealed uncharacteristically. She crossed the room and wrapped her arms around the shoulders of her old friend, speaking in rapid French, being quite rude to their naked friend. "Don't worry," She said, nodding over at Bodhi. "The front is all covered up, you can open your eyes."

Despite the fact that her day had started much earlier than she liked, Crux had been radiating happiness since the moment she woke up. Knowing that all of her planning had finally come together, and that her roommates would be moving in had put the young woman on cloud nine, and felt as though nothing could bring her down. Typically when she was left in charge, things tended to fall apart. She could almost always be counted on to overlook something vitally important, causing all hard work to come crashing down into a giant mess. She hadn't really questioned anyone as to why they were seeking new living arrangements, but this was exactly what she had hoped to accomplish. She, along with Murphy, had successfully brought together five people and made all arrangements. While it may not have seemed significant to someone else, Crux was proud of herself for following through on doing what she said she would do.

She hadn't been surprised when Bodhi was already awake when she arrived to the house earlier that morning with the last of her things. The joys of being the connection to the landlord was that she had the luxury of slowly bringing her things over the last couple of weeks at her own convenience. This worked out much better than her having to get everything together at once. Her parents had taken her out for a cup of coffee early that morning to celebrate her last morning at their home. She knew she always had a room back in Dahliental, but Hossegor was her new adventure. She was moving out at a younger age than both of her older siblings, so of course they were worried for her, but they had stopped trying to reign in their daughter's will years ago. She actually felt that had more respect for their wishes since decisions were left to her.

Crux surprised her new roommate with a freshly rolled joint to commemorate their big day. The lighter haired man had already gone out surfing, something she had already decided he was going to teach her to do. The high was just enough to lift them up, though she still felt as though she had a lot to do, so she stopped at one. They could do some real celebrating later that night with everyone else. Hell, they could celebrate every night! Everyone moving in had responsibilities elsewhere, but this house was going to be a break from that. Years from now when these days were nothing but a memory, she wanted them all to look back and remember this as them having the time of their lives every single night.

Breakfast for the new arrivals? What a perfect idea! That also reminded her that at some point they would need to buy some groceries. Was that something they should do as a group, or individually? She refused to contribute money to anybody who thought bringing Munster cheese into the house was a good idea. She allowed herself to dwell on this for a few brief moments before dismissing the problem; she had a brief epiphany that there were many facets of living on her own and with other people that she hadn't considered, but she wasn't going to let that ruin her good mood. She left Bodhi to the pancakes while she made a quick trip to One Sip Wonders. Her boss was always pretty lenient about them dipping into the inventory as long as they didn't get excessive, and she was sure some fresh fruit would be the perfect addition to their first meal.

She got distracted by a seagull along the coastline, and invested more time in the bird than she had realized. She never had any sort of timepiece to tell her what time it was, but when she returned to an open door at the house, she realized that someone must have already arrived. She removed the canvas bag of fruits from her shoulder, and carried it so that she could race up the deck and into the house, ready to finally see everyone.

When she saw Parthenia and Genevieve, Crux completely forgot about the bag as it fell to the floor, sending a single apple rolling across the kitchen floor. A squeal signaled her entrance as she bounced across the room, arms flying over both of the girls messily, bringing them into a sort-of hug. "I'm so excited you guys are here!"

Not only had she failed to pay attention to the blizzard of flour Bodhi had managed, she didn't even bat an eyelash at the fact that he had traded his wetsuit for a little less clothing. Apparently Genevieve had, and Crux chose not to acknowledge it. While she realized this may have been a bit awkward, they were going to be living together, and more skin than that was probably going to be revealed over time.

"Did everybody meet already? Bodhi, this is Geneviève and Parthenia, we went to Beauxbatons together! Gen and Nia, this is Bodhi, we met on the beach." Her eyes darted back and forth between the three, not sure what she expected, before retrieving her fruit. She rummaged to the bottom and found her wand, and with a couple of waves sent the various melons and citrus floating to the sink, washing under the water. "We've got breakfast almost done, I think, right Bodhi?"
