[giat] headed straight to an irreversible oblivion. [blo]

He had been looking forward to this night for quite some time. When he first met Blo she had intimidated him just a little but he was started to get the feeling that she preferred it that way. As he did her tattoo and got to know her better he realized just how fun she really was. Most people were so ordinary. They did routine things, only rebelled when rebellion was in style, and they bored Gregoire, but not her. She really was her own spirit and that was so rare now. It was a sad fact that even a man in his line of work, who met all kinds of strange characters everyday, was bored with humanity. Blo gave him hope that there was still true creativity left out in the world so he found himself anticipating tonight all week. He had even made sure not to schedule any tattooing sessions with in an hours boundary of when she was supposed to show up, just in case anything ran late. He wanted it to be just the two of them because even if they were with a group of people she would have all of his attentions. Gregoire wasn't sure what he felt about her, she was obviously attractive, and he wouldn't mind if things went in that direction but that wasn't the goal of tonight. He honestly just wanted to spend time with her because she really was that interesting to him.

He cleaned up the shop with fervor before she arrived, putting things back into place, cleaning the counters, and sweeping the floors. He even changed into fresh clothes, donning a bright green one with black jeans, before he sat down at the counter. He sat still for a moment before he started to twiddle his fingers, he didn't want her to show up and he was just sitting there waiting for her to come in like a lost puppy. That might seem a little creepy, a little stalkerish, so instead he went back to the tattoo room and grabbed his sketch pad from the counter and a few pencils. Maybe he'd get some things done while he waited for her. Opening the book up he flipped to a page in the middle, with a sketch he had half finished already but it wasn't completely done. It was a drawing of the iconic Eiffel tower in the middle of a dystopian desert. The metal frame of the structure was crumbling into dust and the skies were dark. It was a little depressing but Gregoire also liked the message it portrayed as he continued to shade in the sands that had collected over time underneath the architecture. He lost himself in his work, as he often did, chewing on his lip ring as his left hand whipped across the parchment and that's when he heard the bell above the door ringing.

Blo glared at the little socialite sitting in her office. Freshly manicured nails refrained from tapping against her desk as her eyebrow arched above wide brown eyes. “…Let me get this straight…,” she began, her voice raised slightly. She noticed people peeking over their cubicles slightly, but she truly didn’t care. “You want me to interview you. You come into my office and think because you’re interesting that you’re going to have me pit you as a feature in my column? “ She snorted, bone straight swinging as she shook her head from side to side. “Get the f*ck outta here.” Blo rose from her chair and grabbed her purse. “I’ve got a sort of kinky date type with a tall frenchman who’d I’d like to be swapping tongues with. Go to the classifieds if you want a date.”

She stomped out of the pit, heels tap tapping on the ground as she angrily strode down the hall. If it wasn’t one thing, it was something else. She just wanted to get up and go, and have some fun. And probably disappoint Gregoire because Doc said she needed to cool it on the ink. He’d seen one big of her new chest piece and almost ripped her in half. She was apparently doing the most, doing too much.  She’d just wanted to be herself, be free. This stupid confused heart of hers was stopping her from doing what she wanted, but she’d overcome it. Nessa had been reading voraciously and shoving potions after potions at her.

That was then, going to see Gregoire was now. She went to the apparation point in the DP offices, and twirled on one foot, apparating to Diagon Alley. Hefting her purse up, she strode through the crowd of wizards, impatient. She wanted to shove them out of her way, but she was a lady. Sometimes. She could wait. When she finally got to the door, she took a deep breath. What was she doing? He was just a guy. A very tall, very handsome guy. She hummed slightly, before shoving the door open. He’d had to be right there, hadn’t he? She beamed at him brightly, before placing her purse on the counter.  If her hips were swaying more as soon as she entered, that was between her and Merlin, she supposed.

“So here is the deal. I’m not allowed to get any tattoo touch ups until my doc gives me the all clear. So, instead…do you want to go on a date or something? For the duration of my appointment that is?” She beamed at him brightly, eyebrows lifted over her sunglasses.

When the sound of the bell chimed through the shop entrance Gregoire's head immediately snapped up and his eyes were greeted by the beautiful witch in front of him. She looked great, as she always did, but really he wanted to get her shirt off... so he could check on how her tattoo was healing, of course. He sat up straight as she walked toward him, smirking lightly at the way her hips swayed when she walked. She had such confidence, he couldn't help but be attracted to it. The smile on his face faded a little when she said that she wasn't allowed to get anymore tattoos. He knew a little about what was going on with her, he didn't know many details, but he knew as much as he needed to know to be able to do his job correctly.

He frowned a little because he really was disappointed that they wouldn't be able to finish her tattoo yet. It was quickly becoming one of the tattoo artist's favorite accomplishments. He was proud of how it was coming out and he hoped she was pleased with it too. He was surprised by the question that followed the news about the doc and his face showed it. A date? He hadn't seen that coming, of course he wanted to go on a date with her. How could he not? She was gorgeous, she was into tattoos, she was smart, and she was outspoken... that was like literal perfection in Gregoire's eyes. He wanted to be like YES YES YES PLEASE YES! But he had to play it cool, couldn't come off as way to eager. Gregoire had been out of the dating game a while but he knew somethings never changed.

"Yeah that could be fun," he answered nonchalantly but flashed her his classic goofy smile, to show that he was interested, but not to seem desperate. "I just gotta' lock up the shop and then we can go grab some dinner? Have you eaten yet?" He asked casually and shut the sketch pad that was on the counter. "I'll be right back." He told her before turning toward the tattooing rooms. He shut off light after light with flicks of his wand then as he got to the store room, which had the back door in it he stopped for a moment. For a split second he waved his arms around enthusiastically and did a little dance with a wild smile, like he had just won the best prize ever. He took the moment to relish in the fact that a beautiful woman was standing in his shop and had just asked him out. Things like this rarely happened to the French man and he knew how to enjoy life when good things happened.

After he had finished flailing like a teenage girl he took a deep breath, turned his hat around so the brim was facing backward, a bit of confidence instilled and then flicked his wand to lock up the back door. He walked back out toward the front of the shop with a casual look on his face. "I'm ready when you are." He said, holding his arm out toward her in playful chivalry. If she had been standing at just the right angle she totally could of seen the reflection of his excited fit in the mirror that was hanging on the wall of the hallway but Gregoire didn't even think of that. He didn't have a care in the world, tonight was going to be great.
