Brown eyes shifted as each person passed, quickly gauging whether or not she wanted to slip between the moving mass of people and have a bit of fun. Mishka rested against the cool stone of the building behind her, an ankle tied wedged heel also resting on the wall. Her arms were crossed over her chest as a pout found it’s way to her lips. She was bored, truly bored. Her hand moved to her hair pulling a sucker from one of the pigtails atop her head. The candy was opened and dropped into her mouth before she reached in the bag to pull another to replace the empty spot on her head.

Like she was floating her body spun so that she could see her reflection in the glass next to her. Small hands positioned the candy until it was just right before adjusted her skirt which barely made it’s way to her mid thigh. Her shirt pink shirt dropped just above her navel and showed more cleavage then one woman should. Her body shifted just an inch and a man walking by bumped into her. The force of their connection made it easy for her to take a few sickles from him along with a newspaper. “No no it’s fine love.” She song out to him as she skipped away, pleased with herself.

Grims was gone, always busy doing things for the bone man. She understood his dedication but honestly she was lonely. Lonely and bored and that for her was a very bad thing. She’d already planned her next big play date. There was a rather nice diamond lock away in a safe and Mishka knew it would soon be hers. She was sure to cause much chaos and destruction as she went to take what she deemed hers. Browns eyes dropped as she came to a sudden stop in the sidewalk to have a look at the first Daily Prophet that touched her hands since leaving Azkaban. She flipped it over and skimmed through the pages before her eyes landed on the photo of a man.

She stared at him for a moment wonder what had made him famous enough to be in the paper. She knew her shenanigans had landed her face there some time ago.  What if he was fun like her?! Instantly she perked up, finally taking a moment to read what was written boldly just about his photo, Edouard Pontmerci, Quidditch Assistant Manager, speaks career and future Qudditch predictions. She didn’t care what it meant and she didn’t bother to actually read the article. This man,  Edouard Pontmerci, needed to be found she had to know what made him so famous.

Moving along the crowded London street, Mishka easily deposited her now useless newspaper in the bag of a woman walking by. Her gaze scanned through the passing faces and as if someone had heard her cries she could swear she saw him. Edouard Pontmerci. She bounced excitedly, clapping her hands together quickly with a squeal before she moved slip through people as she sought him out. Oh, this was just the best. To get her wish answered so quickly she was just beside herself with joy. Humming she danced through people, twirling around them effortlessly as if she were walking on air.

“Edouard Pontmerci!” She yelled, barely visible from where she stood and for the first time hating her own height. “If you would..” She said a bit annoyed as she pushed a taller man away, waving her arms frantically as she called out again. “Edouard Pontmerci! From the paper!!” Now what would she say to him, hmm?

It seemed everyone was moving in the same direction and her eyes rose to see that a concert was about to happen, she allowed the crowd to lead her a smile plastered on her beautiful face as she drew closer to Edouard. “Edouard Pontmerci…” She said one last time with just a bit of awe in her voice.

Ed was very pleased with how the last few weeks had gone. He had successfully navigated the Puddlemore United Reserve Team schedule so far this season and if things continued going well, who knows, maybe one of these days he'd be sitting in the main office managing the first squad. His success had not gone unnoticed either. Just last week, the Prophet had come by to do an interview on him and the recent success the PU reserves had enjoyed. While it wasn't the same level of flair and flash that Ed had enjoyed while working with the French National Team, he did like to see his name in the paper from time to time, especially alongside the names of his team. The PU reserves had a long history of making quite a name for themselves when they moved up to the main team. Oliver Wood for example, he had been quite the force to be reckoned with when Ed's predecessor had been managing the reserves. Now the young man had a spot on the main team and was on a trajectory to be playing for England within the next few years. Other names of PU reserves ticked on the mental list in Ed's head as he meandered aimlessly through the streets of Diagon Alley. He needed some supplies and the Quidditch repair shop here in town was one of the best.

After a good hour and a half or so in the shop sampling some of the wears, Ed departed with a much lighter purse than he had arrived. All the supplies would be magically transported to the club later so Ed had nothing to weigh him down and a few free hours before he was needed for a training session back at the pitch. Deciding to take a quick break from all the hustle and bustle, the French man pointed himself in the direction of the nearest café. A nice coffee and a quick bite to eat would go a long way on what would more than likely be a long day at the pitch conducting inventory of everything he had just purchased in addition to an already full training session. Ducking out of Diagon Alley and into the musty, dirty Muggle portion of London, Ed knew just which café he was looking for when all of a sudden he heard someone shouting his name, not just calling, but shouting and drawing quite a bit of attention to herself. Hoping there was just some mistake, Ed lowered his eyes and continued down the street towards the shop, but the woman was incessant.

Stepping aside of the large crowd of working folk that were, by now, staring as they passed the young man, Ed nodded to the witch. She was a rather pretty woman, more than likely a bit insane, but pretty all the same. If Ed were into women, he would have been more than a little excited to have her chasing him down the crowded London streets, as it was- @Eros Maddox  would be waiting for him this evening and there was nothing she could offer he wouldn't rather get from him. As she closed the last bit of distance between herself and him, Ed returned her smile. "Oui, I am Edouard Pontmerci, but you may call me Ed. You caught me just as I was on my way to grab a coffee, would you care to join me?" Ed had no real interest in spending time with the witch, but getting off the streets was becoming increasingly more important as time passed and more people continued to stare. Taking her silence as consent, Ed resumed his track towards the coffee shop down the street and ducked in, waiting to be seated.

@Mishka Danailova  sorry it took so long

She. Could. Die. He was talking to her, actually talking to her. The grin on her face widen as she stared up at the man. “Ed…” She tested the word on her lips as she moved to follow him. This was going to be the best day. When she had just been bored things were looking up for her. Mishka had no idea what it meant to allow personal space or how to truly act in the presence of others. She could mimic behavior flawlessly, but too truly feel escaped her. She lost the capability young and being locked away in a cell had taken what was left. She’d lost her mind in those passing days, months and years. But this, this singular moment, was the best thing she could remember happening.

“I have never had coffee..” She admitted in her singsong voice, big brown eyes locked on him as if he was some famous painting. As always her eyes scanned the room as she entered, taking in each patron as she did. She scouted the exit near the back and the register near the hall leading to the bathrooms. Fifteen seconds. There would be no time to enjoy herself if she decided to rob this place. Her gaze shifted back to the man with her as she leaned towards him to whisper. “You were in the papers..” She looked around as if someone might hear before looking at him again. “Are you famous too?”

She shifted as someone approached them, to lead them to a booth. She slid into her seat as pulled the candy from her mouth to look at it. “I’m not famous anymore.” She carried out absentmindedly. “But there is still time to make them remember.” Her gaze rose from the candy to the door then to the man seated with her. “How are you famous, Ed?” She gazed at him expectantly as she popped the sucker back into her mouth.

This woman was crazy. Not crazy in the normal, everybody has a quirk kind of crazy, but actual certifiable crazy. She belonged in a ward at Mungo’s for Merlin’s sake. Ed wasn’t used to fans. He had never really been the famous, recognized on the streets type. And for the majority of the wizarding world, he still wasn’t. For some reason, this woman decided that he was worth causing quite the commotion over. Maybe it had something to do with the Prophet’s profile they ran. If this was to be the fallout, Ed’s career doing anything in the public light was going to be as short lived as he hoped this coffee date was. The woman had no idea what personal space was, she kept repeating his name, as if savoring the simplicity of it. Something was a little off, but Ed had the social grace to look past that and not draw attention to any issues.

“Never had coffee? My dear, I am not quite sure you have lived until you have,” the young man said absentmindedly as he waited. Ed stood, impatiently waiting to be seated, standing at the front of the shop no better than on the crowded street as far as avoiding the attention of the general public. When they were finally led to a table in the corner of the shop, Ed felt he could finally breathe. Now at least he was away from everyone’s judging stares. Not that he was unfamiliar with judging stares. He had received them for some time, however normally they came as he was walking the streets with his boyfriend or wearing robes in a more traditional Muggle area, not because his company was acting as though it was the first time they had been out since the war had ended.

Her next question caught him off guard. Famous? So this did have something to do with the papers. He noted the connection and reminded himself to avoid the Prophet and any other news outlets for a while. Best to let everything settle down and avoid drawing attention to himself if this was the consequence of it. “No, no I am quite sure that you are mistaking me for someone else. I am no more famous than any other. I am a mere assistant manager for a local Quidditch team. The papers have a way of making us seem much more important than we are.” Ed flagged down a waitress, ordering two coffee for himself and his guest rather than continue talking to someone who obviously had no idea what was going on.

The candy sucker was an interesting addition. It made her seem almost childlike. Her appearance was youthful, she had the attention span and the social sense of a child, and now she was slobbering over a sucker like she was a witch just starting Hogwarts rather than a contributing member of society. What had he gotten himself in to. Looking for the chance to break off the chance encounter, the young woman’s next quip caught him off guard. What did she mean, ‘make them remember?’ It was no matter, soon enough the coffees would arrive, Ed would drink his and come up with an excuse to break off and head back home. He would certainly be glad to put this whole awkward scene behind him.

Mishka looked out the window and Ed spoke, her chocolate colored eyes toward the window. She blinked, jaw dropping as she gave a chuckle. If she had never seen it she would have never believed it. There was a dancing grandma and if Mishka needed to be more excited she was shaking maracas. The blonde gave a squeak and clapped her hand quickly. “Oh Ed! Loooook!” She said as she mirrored the excitement of a child in a toy store. She pointed to the old woman, giving in to a fit of laughter.

“We must go to this fest that is happening out there.” She stood, giving him a smile. Even in all her craziness, Mishka was sweet. She never meant any harm and she wanted more than anything for someone to love her. She hoped that Ed would follow her, even if he didn’t think he was famous. He was wrong! He was more famous then he knew. “Ed, sometimes being famous means you do good things. Enjoy this…I hear it is nice. Come let’s see the dancing wrinkled lady.”

She grabbed his hand, pulling him along to see this extraordinary sight. Mishka twirled to the melody of the maracas, falling in beside the older woman. She was having fun! “Come Ed! Dance with us!” She reached out to pull the man towards her, laughter in the air as she danced and spun and pranced around. She’d unknowing put them in a very good position of the concert that was starting. Some benefit for some missing animal, or so she had heard while taking small things from people passing by. She’d never seen The Weird Sister, but it was bound to be a wonderful thing.

As the music started she stopped dancing with grandma before she bobbed her head to the music. And like the days of her youth she blended into the crowd as she wrocked out. It was a glorious day.
