The shocking pink robes were not the only thing that took the audience by surprise during this match but it was their unusually reserved style of playing during the match. Best known for their flamboyant way of playing, fans were disappointed to see such serious play, especially against the Requins. As expected, the team took an easy victory but the crowd was not particularly inspired.

After the loss of Viktor Krum to an unexpectedly early retirement, the Vratsa Vultures have simply not been the same. While some suspect that the team is now cursed that they’ve lost the star seeker, others hope that it will be the push the rest of the team needs to continue to perform well. In this game, salvation came in the form of outstanding defense by keeper, Dimitar Dimitrov, whose agility and flying skills made it very difficult for the Manticores to get more than a few goals in.

This has been a particularly difficult season for the Danli Duendes of Honduras after last year two of their best players were suspended for some illegal magical activity. Soon after, team supports were devastated to learn that a nasty injury had forced Hondura’s best seeker, Salvador Zelaya, to quit the team. Even so, the team was in good spirits during the match, even managing to get a decent score, but not enough to gain this match’s victory. Better luck next time!
