The day had been a challenge. Zviad didn't really know how he had managed to get back to the cabin. It was around dinner time now, the boy assumed. It didn't matter though. He didn't want the company of a group of chatting and laughing teenagers, he didn't want food either. He was still sore after his accident from almost two weeks ago. However, he had been pressured into taking part in a camp activity anyway.

Kayaking had sounded like a nice thing to do - at least if one didn't have a broken rib. What had seemed like a fun sport had actually felt like torture. Zviad had tried not to let it show that he was in pain but he had been rather openly grumpy. It didn't help that he had fallen into the water either.

He was still trying to build up muscle after Marja had kept him in a cage for way too long after his bad accident back at school anyway. He was bitter when he thought about that, this accident and the well meant rescue from Marja meant that he'd spend another year at school instead of graduating, after all.

Coming to the camp had been an escape from his life but now it just seemed like it had been a bad idea. Pushing the cabin door open, Zviad stumbled over to his bed. His clothes were still damp but he didn't want to get changed. He wanted to lay down but even sitting down was causing him pain.

Slowly and cautiously the young wizard tried to find a half sitting, half laying position that was not too painful. Having found it, Zviad pulled out a joint and lit it. Hopefully he'd be alone in the cabin for another while. He got along fairly well with his roommate Milos but there were not many people whose presence he really appreciated. Mihaela had clearly been one of them but, as she had graduated while he was repeating his 7th year at Durmstrang, they would see much less of each other. Already before the start of the new term the young man missed his friend.

As the cabin door swung open, Zviad thought briefly about hiding his joint but assumed that the smoke and the smell gave him away anyway. He only hoped that Milos wouldn't get mad as he hardly felt up to a fight.
