And now that he had had more alcohol than he had intended, his thoughts seemed more punctuated, his opinions more forceful as they flew around his head as if in a windstorm, barely able to keep one idea in place for very long. It did seem, however, that one particular memory was rooted firmly in whatever messed up mode he had gotten his brain into: Killian and Mavis coming down the steps, hair a little disheveled, with hickeys on their necks. What. The. Hell.
He had prowled to the dining room area, the center of food and drink, and grabbed a cup and filled it and then swallowed half of it with a grimace. He glared down at the cup. Why hadn't that helped?? He knew he should have never come to this party, but he hadn't wanted to miss out or not know what happened either. And now that he did, he wanted to obliviate himself.
Jae filled up his cup again and then stormed back out in the hall. He needed to get out of here, it was too crowded, too many people laughing and having a good time while he was lost in circle of anger and irritation, not to mention he did
not want to bear witness to another exhibit of Mavis Picking Someone Else again.
Speaking of, the tall, gangly thing Mavis called her boyfriend was coming towards him now, He resolutely stared forward, not even bothering to acknowledge his existence, but he did manage to swing his shoulder at the last second to bump into Buckley's. Oops. "Watch it," he said gruffly, blaming it on the Gryffindor immediately.
