Hi everyone!
If you kept up with the discussion in the Dev Pool months ago, you'll remember that we were discussing the possibility of moving to a new software. Well, the moment we've all been patiently waiting for is here: Magical Hogwarts will officially be moving to a new home! From December 6th-8th, our new host will be doing the final touches on the new site, and we will officially reopen on December 9.
What does this mean for you? During our downtime, our Discord server will be open for chatting, plotting, sharing memes, and more and will also be the main source for information about our reopening. Of course, you can also get this information on Skype from any admin. Additionally, we will have a temporary site open so that you can explore the new site's software and learn more about it.

New account registrations and new character sorting will be disabled on Friday, December 3, 2021, at 11:59 pm CST (GMT-6). We ask that if you're planning to work on any character sheets, please do so in the Sandbox instead of directly into the account's profile. The forum will go offline on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 11:59 pm CST (GMT-6). Members will still be able to access the forum during this time, however please note any posts made or edited will not transfer over to the new site.
What can you expect once we reopen? We will temporarily have a different site URL. You'll still be able to access the current site at the current URL; however, once we get settled into the site, you'll be able to access the new site with our current URL. This site's content will be placed into a read-only mode so that you can still access your character sheets, efbs, etc. The new site will have the same theme we currently have, with a couple of tweaks. You'll be able to view your bookmarks through a subscription tab or via your profile. You'll be able to link your child accounts and switch easily through them without having to log out; same with registering new child accounts.
Lastly, the FPP will not be automated, for the time being, so you will need to submit links via a form to have your points totaled. You may submit your claims via the current system until 11:59 pm on December 3 (same deadline as above for new accounts and sorting). Olivia will log all claims up until that point in the spreadsheet (see main FPP thread for link) and begin to process those.
