[Announcement] Canon revamp

Some of you have already noticed we've revamped the Free and Taken Canon Characters lists this week. There are also a few rule changes as well, namely

- New members can apply for mentioned canons right away rather than having to create an original character first, and
- Established members don't need to write an RP example for mentioned and canon-plus characters, just ask in the thread if they can make a sheet.

We hope this will make it easier for everyone to apply for canon characters.

Yup, that's explained here:

We have also introduced a fourth category - "canon-plus"! This is for any characters who are mentioned in interviews with JK, video games, chocolate frog cards or indeed anywhere other than the seven novels. We have also, for the sake of completeness included the names of future children here - they cannot be played though as they aren't born or (in the case of Teddy Lupin) cannot talk yet!

We didn't see any point in putting him as a mentioned character because there's no way he can be played until he's old enough to talk and think for himself!
