Honestly, what had he been thinking? He could barely handle living on his own - he didn't know what inviting his girlfriend to live with him was going to do other than drive him into the brink of insanity. He was nervous, scared, alarmed, and felt like he was going to vomit all over. She was going to be here soon, in his flat, with her stuff. He had made sure he had hidden all of his dark magic materials so she wouldn't get suspicious or afraid because frankly the two of them were on the opposite ends of the spectrum when it came to their beliefs.
Chael threw himself upon his couch, trying to look relaxed but it wasn't working. He stood up, took a deep breath, sat down again, and repeated. His home was meticulous and he hoped Mallory intended to keep it that way as well. Just as he began thinking about all the ways she could possibly destroy his home, he heard the small doorbell chirp and he got up and flew to the door.
"Mallory! Do you need help?!" he practically screamed in her ear.
