The evening was beginning to roll in as the sun set over London. Julia found herself aimlessly wandering, finding that the weather was almost unseasonably warm, making her want to take advantage of the slightly warmer temperature and go outside. It was crisp out as it often was in fall, but the temperature was just enough warmer than usual to make a difference and the bright sunny day was a warm welcome from London’s usual grey weather. After doing a small smuggling job for Leon earlier in the afternoon, she had the rest of the day to herself. Deciding to enjoy the rare weather, she spent her day wandering around London, doing some window-shopping and people watching in the park. It was a nice change, doing something relaxing outdoors instead of her usual partying, but as smirk grew on her face, Julia reminded herself that the evening was still young and full of opportunities.
As she sipped on the coffee that she bought a few blocks back, the young blonde began to feel a rumble in her stomach. She tried to think back to what she’d eaten today and all she could remember were the eggs she had in the morning and the candy bar a few hours back. As she rounded a corner, the seventeen year old laid eyes on a small chip shop with a few tables inside. A sudden craving for a fried platter of something or other came over Julia and she made her way over to the little shop across the street. As she neared it, the smell coming out of the restaurant filled her nostrils and her craving grew stronger.
Her eyes absently scanned the menu behind the counter while she waited her turn in line, her hunger growing more apparent to her as she contemplated ordering one of everything. When her turn came, she decided on a curry platter and fumbled with her purse to find the right money. After paying and receiving her meal in it’s white take out box, Julia quickly turned around to make her way over to one of the small two seat tables when she felt herself collide into something. Her change flew to the ground and she short girl let out a small squeak in surprise. Looking up, Julia realized it was a someone, not a something that she ran into. Her bright blue eyes met a pair of eyes are darker shade of blue and she small smile played on her face. “Sorry,” she said softly, standing up straight. Letting out a little laugh she added, “The rumbling in my stomach made it hard to pay attention to my surroundings.”
Quickly moving down, the blonde managed to grab her change and stuffed it quickly into her
purse. Standing back up straight, Julia took another look at the man. He was older, Julia put him in late twenties to early thirties, but certainly attractive. Not as attractive as the man called John she met about a week ago, but this other man certainly had his good features. A devilish grin played on Julia’s face as she flipped her long hair over her shoulder. “Enjoy your food,” the teen said with a coy tone and playful as she made her way over to the table she spied early. “I’ll just be over here, trying not to bump into anyone again.” She sat down at the table and left the secondary seat open, hoping the man would take her subtle invitation. It wasn’t a terribly obvious signal, but she didn’t want to be too obvious as other people were still in the tiny take out place. The evening was young and if she could, she knew that she could use some company to get into trouble with tonight. After all, the blonde lived for fun and she adored people that would have fun with her. She loved meeting new interesting people and if it just so happened that it was a good looking guy, her desire for fun grew even stronger.
