all I wanna do is lose control [sarevaleen]

You know that I'm a crazy bitch
I do what I want when I feel like it

Yeah, school was out for the summer months, and to the Irish girl that was a mixed bag. Sure, it was nice to be off school, but just a few years ago she'd been looking forward to being done by now. Colleen was supposed to have graduated along with all her friends--Charlie, Sare--even Seth, and it was a tad bit annoying that she had the prospect of going back to finish up her N.E.W.T.s and even he was done. More than a bit. Damn Voldemort, she thought, revving her motorcycle down the London streets. Whatever though. Colleen was adaptive, and she'd roll with it--even if she didn't like that much.

She'd been running with her brothers all summer, but it did get boring being a Muggle all the time. Tonight Colleen was meeting up with Sarah and "a friend" the other girl had met the other day. Reagan was apparently spending the evening with Finn, which was about to be expected. Colleen only hoped that Finn would quit moping sometime soon. It was going to be a pain in the ass if he decided to act like that all year. Finn was one of the people she actually liked in her new year, and if he was going to be the little black raincloud in the corner giving off little sad sparks, she was going to go insane. It wasn't as if he'd never see his girlfriend anyway. There was Hogsmeade and the winter holidays and for Chrissakes, they were all graduating next summer and then they could go live out their happy little lives together.

Colleen banished the thoughts from her mind as she swerved neatly (and from a bystander's point, somewhat dangerously) into a tight little parking spot for her bike. Shaking out her hair from its rather messy windblown state, she briskly pushed open the door to the bar they'd picked and perched her petite frame on a stool with a bit of space. "Surprise me," she asked the bartender, tilting her head a little and grinning impudently at the eyebrow she got. "But nothing too girly. I'm feeling adventurous." Yeah, she'd probably pissed him off, and who knew what she was going to get out of that since she didn't already know the guy, but it wasn't like this was a favorite haunt of hers. Just some random bar that seemed fairly middle-of-the-way. The girl proceeded to pull out a notebook and a bright pink Self-Inking Fwooper quill that matched the popping color of that single streak in her blonde hair and start doodling. Who did that at a bar? Nobody, really, but Colleen didn't really give a fuck and that was the message she tended to send.

It was a few minutes (she must have been early) before she saw the unmistakable figure of Sarah Hirst coming in the doorway. "Nice of you to show up," she grinned cheekily at the other girl. "Who exactly are we meeting, other than someone apparently unforgettable?" Colleen was all for meeting new people, especially when they came with Sarah's recommendation, but she did like to have a bit of warning first.

Sare was buzzed. So, so buzzed. Tonight was going to be epic. The night out to end all nights out. And why was that? Because the three baddest bitches around were about to hit the town. She grinned at her reflection in the mirror as she smeared on a little more red lipstick. Sare looked pretty killer tonight, if she said so herself. Teeny crop top to show off her barely-healed belly button piercing, ripped and skin-tight leggings, and a badass pair of studded platform heels that had taken a bit of practice to get used to walking in properly. With a final flourish, she twisted the lipstick back into it's tube and dropped it into her purse. Red was good not only for looking like hot shit when she was out, but also it was Sare's way of noting which glass was hers - no lipstick marks, no drinky. No desperado virginal creeps were going to be switching out her glass for one they'd spiked.

Satisfied that she was looking good Sare left her bathroom, shutting the door with her hip as she rummaged in her purse to make she she had everything. Wand? Check. Money? Eh, check. It would be a good idea to stop pissing away the little money she had on partying soon. But not tonight, of course. Lipstick? Check. The rest of her purse was filled with the usual crap that collected in those sort of things. Receipts, bus tickets, et cetera. Nothing of importance. Feeling good to go, she tottered slightly on her way through the house and reached for her wand as she left through the front door. She didn't bother calling out behind her - Ray was off doing something with Finn and Harry didn't mind them coming and going as they pleased. It was a pretty decent living situation, really.

With practiced ease Sarah twisted on the spot, picturing an alley near to the bar they'd chosen. She grimaced slightly at the uncomfortable sensation of apparation, inhaling deeply when the night air once again hit her face. Ugh, she was never going to get used to that, was she? Shaking off the sensation, she walked out into the open, then made a beeline for the front of the bar. The nearby motorbike told her that Colleen had already made an appearance. Sure enough, once she entered the bar she saw the Irish witch waiting for her, scribbling away at something in front of her. She let out a laugh at her friend's comment when Colleen acknowledged her. "Well I couldn't pass up on a chance to tear shit up now, could I?" She replied with a smirk.

"Eva. That's her name. Didn't catch a last name." She said, settling at the bar next to Colleen. "Nutty as squirrel shit, but so are we so she'll fit in just fine." Sare smiled once more at the memory of meeting her new friend. They'd actually gotten into a fight initially. But hey, Sare's initial reaction to people was hostility so it was to be expected. But somehow after that the pair had hit it off, and before Sare knew it they were getting on like a house on fire. Eva was wild, alright. She had the same desperate thirst for a good time Sarah felt when she was out, and they were both borderline crazy enough to dabble with the darker sides of having a good time. Colleen was going to love her too, Sare was sure of it.

Speaking of Colleen, it seemed that the girl had already gone ahead and ordered a drink. Well, then. Sare had better play catch up. She caught the eye of the bartender, who approached when she nodded. "Hmm..." She deliberated for a second. "Give me a Zombie. Hold the lime, and switch the pineapple for cranberry. Thanks." She said, pulling some money from her purse and leaving it on the side to cover the drink. Sare figured she may as well start as she meant to go on, right? Man, she couldn't wait for Eva to show up.

So tonight she was meeting a girl she’d only met a few times before and her friend (who was apparently still in highschool?). They’d met at a mutual friend’s birthday party and they'd fought. Eva couldn’t remember what it is that had sparked the conflict (she’d been far from sober, after all), but it had somehow ended with the two sharing cigarettes and… other, less legal things. She and Sarah had a lot in common, but the younger girl was a lot more aggressive and seemingly a lot less friendly. Especially with men. Eva didn’t really care though, as long as the agression wasn’t directed at her. She and Sarah got on like wildfire. They seemed about as destructive as wildfire, too.

Eva had recently dyed her hair green. Elaine didn’t really like it though, so the Bulgarian thought she’d probably do it a different colour again soon. A few weeks back, she’d gone through a phase of dying it a different colour every two days, but she was feeling a little less restless lately. She’d had more to do, she supposed. Her half-assed move to Paris had failed, but it had been a great distraction. The girl had a habit of forgetting about people when they weren’t around, and she’d forgotten about how fun some of her French friends were. She’d ended up staying at an ex-boyfriend’s place for a couple of days and crashing on another friend’s couch for the rest of the time.

The young woman had lost interest in the move before she’d bothered signing anything. Really, she wanted to get back to Asia. It felt like home more than anywhere else in the world at the moment. Reflecting on all of this, Eva apparated to the agreed meeting point. She hadn’t been here before, but that was anything but a deterrent. She flicked her cigarette to the ground and stamped it out with the tip of a chunky red boot. The young woman stored her wand into her jacket and made her way inside. She was keen to drink tonight. It only took a moment to scout out the girls she was looking for. “Hirst!” she demanded with a friendly smirk, greeting her blonde friend. “And… Colleen?” Eva stuck her hand out for the other girl to shake. “Eva,” she offered, giving the girl her most charismatic grin. Colleen looked like a girl who could handle herself.

Time for drinks. She took a seat next to the others and beckoned the bartender over. He wanted to know what she was after. “Oh Merlin, I don’t know,” she answered the bartender boredly, despite having just waved the young man over. Eva turned to the other girls for a moment. “What’re you two drinking?” she asked. The green haired girl sighed, her bright blue eyes raking over the menu quickly. They weren’t drinking shots. She didn’t feel like scotch or whiskey or anything like that. The girl leaned forward over the bar, folding her arms across it. A small, flirtatious smirk played on her lips as she ordered. “Could you just give me like… a cup of half tequila, half iced-tea?” As a bartender, Eva had received weirder requests than that before. She grinned when he said that he could do it for her. "So." her attention was drawn back to the others. She offered them a cheeky little smile. "Busy night ahead?"

Well, Colleen had gotten a few looks when she pulled out the notebook and quill, but that was mostly because people were a little...nonplussed. When Sarah walked in, well, she was getting those leery eyes from the louts that said they wanted a piece of that. Colleen's lips quirked up with suppressed laughter. If any of them tried they were going to get it bad. Wrong target today. She flipped her notebook around and showed Sarah her sketch of the bartender's face when she'd asked him for a surprise, comically exaggerated. "I think I pissed him off," she whispered conspiratorially, with a low laugh that just rose when she turned back around and saw him setting a peculiar looking cocktail down a little forcefully in front of her. "But I thought he'd be mad if I started sketching without ordering something, yeah?" she added as an aside before she took a sip of the stuff. "It's like...a bad mint julep. With fruit. In London. I think he just poured shit in." Turning back around, she gave him a cheeky grin and exclaimed in mock delight, "You should add that to the menu and drive away a few more customers while you're at it!"

"Eva, hmm?" she addressed her friend, ignoring the look she was getting. "Did you two get in a brawl?" A lot of Sarah's friendships seemed to start that way, funnily enough. "Fair enough. I--" she cut off as the door opened and a girl with rather flamboyant green hair walked in. Well then, her eyes seemed to say. "All right, I get your point about unforgettable," she laughed. She did a streak or tips once in a while, but never all out. Nodding to the other girl as she walked up to them, she shook her hand firmly and shortly. "That's me," she grinned. "Nice hair. I go a bit darker when I do green, but it's gotta stand out over the blonde for me." She motioned vaguely to the vivid pink in her hair.

"Busy?! Damn epic, more like. I need a realllllly good few nights or two before I gotta go back to school in September." Distaste twisted her face. "Muggleborn and all that. I'm only a few days younger than Sare here." She took another drink of that messed up cocktail. "It might be growing on me, in a weird sort of way. Anyways, I was going to say, though, I have a feeling we might have some fun tonight. Look at the way those louts are eyeing us." Colleen gave Sarah a nudge. Indeed, there were some rather disgusting looks being thrown their way. "That one looks barely 17, pimply, and desperate, and that one looks 35 and a creeper. You just had to wear that top, didn't you?" She grinned. It always added another dimension to just getting drunk when something fun happened. "Bets on how long it takes one of them to get over here?"
