Julian chuckled lightly, “I could if you wanted…” He didn’t really take Eva for the dinner first kind of gal so he knew she was teasing, “But… I think we’re past that stage now.” He winked at her. He wasn’t really trying to push the whole sleeping together bit; he was mostly just having fun. Mostly. Her next question made him pause as he thought about it, “It just happens that way, doesn’t it?”
He let a short laugh escape him when she asked if he had to be intoxicated. No, he didn’t but there was a small part of him that was hesitant to be intimate with her with a sober mind. Some days that they were just friends hanging out and having fun drinking a doing unspeakables and there were some nights, like tonight, when she looked amazing and Julian questioned the fact that they weren’t an item. But he knew being involved emotionally with Eva was bad news for him and wasn’t about to inform her of this now, “I always wait for your signal…so these are questions you should be asking yourself,” He smirked as he looked over at her. “But if you said right here right now, I’d be happy to oblige, of course.” He looked ahead of him fighting a smirk.
“You’re eyes are like the moon. Your hair is like the sunset.” His reply was monotone as he feed her some lazy compliments. He was purposely trying to be smart as he shot her a look. The ex Slytherin explained the fountain ordeal and he couldn’t put a finger on her mood until she finally threw the coin rather bored and Julian’s smile was smug as he watched her. “I’m still not telling you.” He laughed this off knowing she didn’t possess the ability to care too much about things like this. She would move on quickly forgetting and she did.
He pulled her onto his lap ignoring her rambles. He asked her what she wanted to do and instead of answering she completely changed the subject. “Uh, I just got it filled in, so yeah. Good eye.” He was impressed that she had noticed. Their eyes met and her next words brought on an exasperated expression, “Now??” The only reason for his reaction being that he didn’t have his kit on him. She was full of surprises, wasn’t she? And he didn’t really mind since it was her after all, but he was expecting a free night from tattooing. “We could apparate to my apartment if you know how?” Julian had quit school before he got to learn so every time he traveled it was by his car or by some other magical means. He looked at her expectantly.
