Autograph, after autograph, after autograph... He was not complaining, but his hand was beginning to cramp. Two years ago, Torsten Trickett became first string beater for the Montrose Magpies. Since then his life was pretty much amazing. He played matches every so after and interviewed with the Prophet and WWN when he got a chance. He was making a name for himself. It was nice to be something different than his brother. Everybody knew his oldest brother and respected him, some just appreciated him more. Torsten had the fame. His brother had more charm. It was fine with him though, they were both different and he knew that now. That is what happened when you became an adult. Torsten was still pretty immature and a brat, but he probably will never grow out of that. Tor loved his brother a little more now. It was only since the war that happened. Before that he was pretty concern with his own affairs. He still won't tell his brother he cares more about him now.

The day was almost over. He had the last group of autographs. They were a bunch of older mothers in their fourties with pictures of Torsten. He must just be known for his looks. He did not mind that. He knew he had an amazing smile. He shot a smile at the older ladies and they squealed. It made him chuckle. He ended up signing a few moving posters and finally an arm of a woman. At least she did not ask her to sign her chest. That was always awkward... especially for their age. They were some adorable women though. The quidditch shop owner told him how many posters and Montrose Magpies gear was sold to inform his coach... and then Tor was set free.

It was nice to be able to go enjoy himself on the town. Maybe he would go the bar... maybe his brother's. He had no clue what he was going to do. He was still wearing his Magpies' team sweater with his name on the back. He was being supportive, plus he did not have time to change his clothes. Maybe the bar would be a good idea. It was not to late. He could have a few drinks and after that head home. He had practice in the morning. Work out, practice, work out, eat, sleep. He was a man of routine. As he turned into the first pub that caught his eye he looked around. It was nice. Wizard Sisters were playing in the background... his favorite band. The crowd was not super huge. It was nice. As he walked up to the bar he sat down next to a woman. She was very attractive and slightly familiar. The bartender asked him what he was going to order, "A coffee right now and whatever this lovely lady would want... "He glanced at her and instantly knew who she was. "If I was not intruding, Amara." He smirked, showing off his dimpled smile. It was someone he knew from his classes. They really weren't friends. Actually, they probably talked about five times. Torsten knew more about her by her modeling. She was a gorgeous creature. There was no doubting that. He beauty just flew off the pages of any place she modeled for.

Similarly to Torsten Trickett, Amara Dea Cast had found herself in busy circumstances before they so happened to sit at the same bar. She was a witch in high demand. After an early morning of stretches and working out, taking her son out to the park and along her side to meetings, as well as a casting call, she had found herself free a little after seven o'clock in the evening. After all of her running around, she  dropped her son off at home with her father. They all lived in her flat in London. Her father was currently involved in a serious ongoing match of magical chess with little Liam every evening. He was an exceptionally bright and beautiful little boy.

Deciding to take a night to unwind, the young half-veela dressed herself in casual attire. Classic Amara style. Her clothes were always chic, and always a just the right amount of revealing. She donned a black bow in her hair, which was worn in loose waves that flowed about her shoulders and neck. Sheer black thigh highs and a pair of black platform booties and she was out the door. She knew exactly where she would be going this evening. A safe place for the famous witch, a place the paparazzi never were able to capture her. The Dark Rose Pub in Diagon Alley. It was an extremely old pub that Amara had so happened to work at before she was "found" and exploded onto every fashion cover.

She knew she was safe here. It was an all magical pub, and witches and wizards always seemed to pay Amara with a bit more respect than muggles and crazed fans did. She was able to sit at this pub without being harassed by cameras or people from different publications asking her if gossip and rumors were true. The bartender who worked there now, a rough looking wizard with a long grey beard, was a force to be reckoned with whenever someone did start making Amara uncomfortable. Truth be told though, it was no big secret that Amara just loved all of the fame and the spotlight. She loved that every one knew who she was and that her image had touched them. After so long of living on the run growing up with her father, having a baby very young, and the war, she had overcome a lot. She was stronger than ever.

The unsuspecting witch arrived at the pub and immediately sat up at the bar, although she did not yet order a drink. She removed her cloak and  looked out around the room. A familiar tune was playing, and the girl's body swayed with the music as she took in the scene. Suddenly a voice broke her out of her daze right into her ear. She blinked her light crystal blue eyes and turned on her barstool so her body was completely facing the owner of the voice.

"Torsten Trickett." Amara spoke, her voice was soft yet could be heard over the music like her own melody. Yes. She knew exactly who this man was. Liam was a HUGE Quidditch fan and knew all about Torsten, therefore so did Amara. Amara also knew Torsten way before he was a Quidditch star. They had never been close. Amara was a Slytherin, Torsten a Gryffindor. Yet because they were in the same year they had many of the same classes growing up at Hogwarts. She could recall a time they had been paired together in a Transfiguration class project. Torsten turned Amara's hair into feathers, Amara gave Torsten blue scaly skin. Hogwarts days was such a distant dream now.

"I'll take a coffee as well," she told the bartender, although her eyes were still locked on Tor. The bartender nodded and walked away to fetch their hot beverages. "You're not intruding at all," Amara finally answered him, a small smirk tugged at the corner of her plush dark lips. "What brings you here, all-star?" She asked, smiling wider at the irony of their celebrity status.

"I could say the same for you, Miss model." He smiled gently at the woman in front of him. The last time he really seen her in person they both were so young. It was weird that he was getting older and older every year. The older you get the faster life becomes. He was proud of his life so far. He was famous, no worries about money, and could basically get whatever he wanted. It was a nice life. He was still close with his family and some friends in the Order too. Torsten wished that there was more, but wasn't that everybody's life. "I seen your last spread in a magazine. It looked amazing. You are making a name for yourself.... I actually think some of my teammates have a picture of you in their lockers." He chuckled slightly at the gorgeous woman.

The thing about Amara is you just cannot take your eyes off of her. He did not even want to take his eyes away when the coffee was brought. It was usually like this in school too. She always had some sort of radiance he could not explain. It was like when the Fleur girl from the Order talks. He always just wanted to stop and stare at her. He couldn't even form words around that Fleur woman. Plus, both women were absolutely gorgeous so that did not help the man. He had a weakness for attractive women. "I actually just got finished signing some posters and wanted to waste some time. How about you?"

Man, he was glad he was not at his brother's bar. He would not even be able to speak to this woman. He would instantly probably flirt or talk to her. It would be an instant fail for Torsten to even socialize with someone he knew from school... or even socialize with someone who actually was decent looking. He dealt with old ladies who just kept pretending to swoon. He preferred another type of woman to speak to. Torsten finally took his eyes off of Amara and picked up the coffee. He blew the cup softly and then took a small sip. This was a good brew. He always preferred his coffee black, but they had a softer and lighter type of coffee where it was not to strong or even light. It was perfect. He would have to find out what kind of beans they use. He then returned his gaze to the woman by him.

Shortly after they placed their coffee orders, the grey bearded wizard returned with two large mugs. They were ceramic mugs with a subtle glaze that changed colors in different lighting. Without having to glance, the witch slowly reached over and wrapped one of her small dainty hands around the mug. Her nails were long and pointy, painted black. The wizard returned with a small pitcher of creamer and basket filled with an assortment of options to add to their steaming beverages.

At the mention of her last magazine spread, Amara let out a small cute giggle. Her legs that were dangling from her barstool, swung back and forth, revealing her excitement. The halfing's powers became most apparent whenever she was feeling a strong emotion. Her olive tinted skin seemed to glow faintly... her dark thick curls almost appeared as if they were blowing around her gently by a breeze. Amara just loved to be adored, and loved the thought of her likeness being pined after by handsome Quidditch players. She lifted her hands up to her neck and fanned her self, an exaggerated gesture to express how hot she became by that idea. "Whew! Thank you Torsten," she teased, pulling her shoulders together and giving him a coy look. "I am glad you like my work..." She let her voice trail off, and bit into her lower lip.

She could not remember when she had seen Torsten last... probably when they had graduated years ago? It was unclear. He sure had grown up quite a bit. Amara had seen his photographs in the papers; mostly shots of him during games, or posing in his uniform with his team. Seeing him in person was a much different experience than looking at his photographs. Amara knew about this power, and many people were usually shocked when they had realized how tiny Amara is. Most models are very tall, but she is an exception.

Amara finally broke eye contact with him, looking over to at the cup she was holding. She poured herself a little creamer, and added a spoonful of pure sugar. Amara Cast had a weakness for anything sweet. She brought the mug up to her lips and took a small sip. The creamer had done a good job and cooling it down enough so it was drinkable. Amara listened to Torsten explain where he had been coming from. She took another sip and placed her mug back on the bar. "I just went to a few meetings... casting calls for upcoming editorials. I used to work here before I became a model, so photographers and reporters usually can't bother me here." She nodded. She could already feel the effects of the caffeine. The music in the room was very loud, but she kind of liked. it. Suddenly feeling a little anxious from her burst of energy, she began to swing her legs back and forth again.

"What are you getting into this evening?" She asked. Amara did not have to work the next morning, so she was potentially up for an adventure. If not, she was okay with having a casual conversation with the famous Quidditch star.

"Who wouldn't like your work?" He smirked gently at her. She was a beautiful woman. Most of the time the more beautiful the worst Torsten could speak around them. He usually would do a horrible pick up line and mess up everything. That is why he really only had one serious relationship in his whole life. Most of the time he just did not want anybody getting to close. He did not ever want to lose that one person he connects with the most. The best way to stop that is just not getting super close to anybody but family. Which he had plenty of family to spare. He listened to her talking about working them before becoming a model. Torsten was a ministry worker before the quidditch took off. If he never got into quidditch he probably would still be in the ministry. That life would be very odd for him. He probably would be married with five kids already. No way was he doing that, yet. He loved making money and being famous. He did love a family, but being famous was amazing for him.

What was he going to do evening? He thought for a moment and spoke, "You're looking at it." He chuckled. He was obviously joking. "I might visit by brother at his pub... but other than that a relaxing night at home. What about yourself?" He really did not get out much. He got invited but Torsten disliked all the press that followed events. Most of the time an article about him and one of his flings with appear in the entertainment section of daily prophet. He would have to go apologize and then just tons of drama. He had no clue how he get a party boy name when he never really went to them. It was just from the paper and the name they give to people. He hated the press with a passion.

"If you have anything fun going on tonight, let me know... just no press." He chuckled. Hopefully she felt the same way about the press.

The half-veela flashed Torsten a dazzling grin at his compliment. Nothing quite like flattery to get on Amara's good side. The short witch was really starting to enjoy Torsten Trickett's company. The burly bartender made his way back over to them. "Two shots of firewhiskey, please." The bartender  winked at her, and with a flick of his wand, two rather generous shots were poured for them. Amara was on the same boat  as Tor as far as romantic relationships were concerned. Truth be told, she had not been emotionally involved with a man since she was a teenager. In her Hogwarts years she had a few "serious" boyfriends, had her heart broken, and broke many hearts herself. These days she was much more careful with who she gave her heart to. She did enjoy playing the game, though.

"Want to hang with me tonight?" Amara asked the 'pretty boy' quidditch all-star. She reached over and slid the shot glass down the bar to him. She wouldn't be offended if he declined, but he was at a bar afterall. It was not very often that Amara bought a man a drink. She thought he had deserved one. The witch looked out onto the scene of the bar. A lot of people had arrived since she had started talking to Torsten. The music was playing louder than before, the lights in the room dimmer. There was already a group of people dancing in front of the DJ. Amara listened to Torsten, but also took in the music and started swaying with the beat on her barstool. After a few moments of looking out at the crowd and feeling the music, Amara looked up at Torsten, her bright blue eyes glittering.

"Any press is good press, right?" She smirked at him. Amara had actually recently been published in the Daily Prophet for being seen with rockstar Valya. Amara's relationship with Valya was kind of romantic... mostly thrilling and fun. They always appeared together at public events, but it was nearly impossible to have any real alone time because of their busy schedules. She respected him as a close friend, and both of them having young children made them bond on a deeper level, too. He was her favorite penpal... but not her boyfriend.

"Kidding!" She giggled.  "I hate being harassed by nosy paparazzi. We should be safe here for a while..." But there were already a few people that were looking at them from across the room, wide-eyed. The lights got even dimmer. Amara grabbed her shot of firewhiskey and held it up to Torsten. "Cheers~"
