[solved] NPC Guidelines

I might be making this up but I thought there used to be some sort of guidelines for NPCs, i looked at the FAQ, General Rules, & through the Q&A boards but didn't see anything so here goes:

Rinn and I were going to have a thread with Nessa and Torr where Nessa is with a man at her apartment and then Torr bursts in and awkwardness ensues. The man that Nessa is being romantic with isn't actually a played character but for the story it might be necessary for me to NPC him slightly (the fact that their both in her bedroom, his reaction to torr, him leaving unhappy, and so on).

So my question is do I need to register him as an NPC or anything like that? Do I need to make two separate posts (or use a divider) for Nessa's reaction and then his, or can I just write his reactions into Nessa's post with out any introspect?

I feel like I'm over thinking this but I don't wanna do the wrong thing. xDD

You can do whichever you prefer, using a divider or writing his reactions into Nessa's post. I am currently doing an NPC for Bridget's character, granted it's just her character and her boyfriend and not a third party involved xD Regardless, there is no need to register an NPC as long as it's only being played for a brief time that is important to the thread and/or character development.
