Despite the slight chill in the air, the sun was shining and trees were budding, ready to start blooming for the spring. Ivy's brown eyes glanced up to the clear sky right as a chirping bird flew over head. It would be so beautiful out soon, the sixteen year old thought to herself, excited for days to spend outside, in sunlight and not cooped up in the common room. Although she had made almost every Hogsmeade trip this year, this was the first one where it didn't feel like a death wish to be outside. The air didn't hurt her face anymore, there was no bitter wind blowing past her making her wonder if she would still have all her fingers when the day was over. Today was the warmest day so far this year and Ivy wasn't going to waste it inside.

She had came with a small group of friends and, after hours of browsing various shops, had decided that they were in need of lunch. When they came upon the small corner cafe and saw that there had been chairs and tables set up outside, it seemed like the perfect lunch spot. Ivy was excited just to stay outside and as she heard her stomach growl loudly, eating seemed like such a good life choice at the moment.

The cafe was small and quaint, relatively new, but made amazing sandwiches and coffees. It was a counter service, which was nice because the line gave Ivy a time limit on making a decision for what she wanted. Of course, she picked last in the line of her friends, knowing full well that she would still probably not be ready to make a decision when her turn to order came. As expected, when she approached the counter, Ivy stumbled over her words before spying a turkey and cheese sandwich with more fixing than she had time to read and she blurted that order out. In addition, the cafe was offering an iced butterbeer. That sounded interesting enough to Ivy, so she quickly ordered that as well. The group moved down to the waiting station at the end of the counter as Ivy slid her change back into her purse. Their food was finished quickly, but almost not quickly enough as her stomach was growling loud enough for others in the shop to hear. Her face reddened and she almost couldn't contain herself when she picked up her food.

Before even making it to the table, Ivy started in on her sandwich. She felt her entire body thank her for choosing to eat and Ivy though absently about how much she really loved food. Every kind of food. There were things in this sandwich Ivy wasn't even sure what they were and she loved it. The already easily distracted teen was now so focused on her sandwich that she was only half paying attention as her friends led the way to a table. She took another bite, a large mouthful, when she felt her foot collide with the leg of an empty chair. Ivy hopped a little, trying to regain her own balance when the lower half of her arm hit the chair behind her. In her surprise, she dropped her iced butterbeer and watched in horror as it landed on the shoulder of the boy sitting in the chair, going down his back.

"Oh my...I'm so sorry," Ivy sputtered out through a mouthful of food. Her eyes went wide and her face turned a bright red--the teen swore she could feel everyone staring at what she had just done. Ivy stared at him for a moment, watching in horror as the liquid continued to move down his back and the sticky sweet smell of the butterbeer filled her nostrils. "I, uhm, oh jeez. I'm so, so sorry."

She already apologized, she realized, but it seemed to be the only words that would form in her mouth. She needed to do something for him, right? Although it was entirely accidental, Ivy felt so guilty for possibly ruining this boy's shirt and possibly ruining his day. She set her sandwich down on the empty table and quickly said, "I...I'll go get napkins?" The brunette dashed into the cafe, grabbing as many napkins as she could and ran back out to the boy and began dabbing at the back of his shirt trying to absorb the liquid, her face remaining a bright red the entire time.

"I'm really so, so, so, so, so sorry."

Sunshine!

Gone was all that bloody snow and in return, bright sunlight and blooming flowers. It couldn't come soon enough, really. The students were getting a bit restless and fidgety being cooped up inside to escape the cold but now, they were invading Hogsmeade. It was a nice sight. Sat at a table outside a cafe, he rested his cup of tea in his hands as he watched people. He did that a lot, he rather enjoyed it. There was something about spring that made every single couple in the entire world wander outside, holding hands.

Harvey had never felt particularly lonely. He didn't really understand why people needed to be in a relationship. His bright blue eyes watched a couple around his age hold hands. The girl was giggling, the boy was looking at her intently. "Aww," he found himself comment as he sipped his tea, crossing his legs at the ankle and reclining in his seat.

The bright sunlight shone down, causing him to slip a pair of sunglasses over his eyes, his blazer hung casually on the back of his seat and the sleeves of his blue shirt rolled to the elbows, exposing his pale forearms. Harvey had been here for about twenty minutes. His friends had gone off wandering as usual. One was preparing for a date and so, had no idea what to even do. As Harvey had a little sister, apparently that made him a relationship guru. His friend, Philip, had mentioned his date liked to read so Harvey had sent him into a bookshop and ordered him to buy a copy of her favourite book. That'd keep them busy.

He was content to just enjoy the peace and quiet. Once removed from it, Harvey realised how loud and insane the school really was. There were birds tweeting somewhere, how lovely! Completely relaxed and content, he hadn't seen what was coming.

"Motherf--"

With a gasp, Harvey was up and off his seat, sending his chair toppling backwards as he jumped up. The horrible shock of something ice cold connecting with his warm skin sent a jolt through his body and made him forget to breathe. He panted, whirling around, jaw set and eyes blazing…only to blink. Oh. It was a girl. Confused, he grimaced uncomfortably as a lump of frozen drink slid slowly down the curve of his spine and caused him to shudder violently. Urgh. Gross.

"Eh?" Harvey asked, confused and concerned about the welfare of his little babbling blonde midget. Sorry? "Oh it's fine," he told her gently, running a hand back through his dark hair, pulling a face to see that some of it was matted due to the sugary drink drying in the sunlight. Double gross. His eyes widened as she ran off again. "What?" He whispered, trying to keep up. "Ow!" He exclaimed as the girl tried to clean him off. Really, all she'd done was slap at him and prod him until he'd given up. "Ouch, okay, stop," he told her, grabbing her hands and smiling. "It's fine. No blood, no foul."

Letting her hands go, he placed his glasses on the table, grabbed the hem of his shirt and pulled it up and over his head. The spring air was crisp and he'd like to say that it was the first time he'd been shirtless in Hogsmeade but alas, it wasn't. Taking a napkin from her, Harvey wiped at the back of his neck, capturing the butterbeer as best he could. He needed to shower before he was attacked by a swarm of bees or something equally as awful.

Holding his shirt in one hand, Harvey cleaned and dried it with his wand easily, flashing her a smile as he began to button it back up. "See?" He asked. "Totally fine." Looking up, he saw the girl's friends staring at them both, causing him to blink. "Odd," he remarked. "How about I buy you another?" Harvey asked, pointing to the now empty and discarded plastic cup. "My treat?"
