[Scotland] They havent seen the best of us yet {Zina}

It had been a long, long day of training with his few students. But it had also been a good one, in at least a few ways. His youngest student, Colin, had been able to summon the basic GARTH spell for the first time. Which was something Gaspard would never tire of seeing, despite his usual need for novelty and entertainment. But now with the day over, the Zealot was incredibly thankful to have some time to himself. Normally the blonde might read, or head out and see if any of his friends in Paris knew of something going on, but tonight he wanted nothing but his own solitude and peace. And with that in mind, he had decided tonight he would morph.

After all, there was no better way to get some peace and quiet than by morphing. Sighing, Gaspard stretched, and exhaled, all of his focus on the morphing process itself. But just before he let his body shift and change with his element, there was a knock at his door. stifling a growl, the Frechman made his way over towards the door, quickly peering through the peephole before opening it.

It was Zina, and it usually was. The girl had a knack for finding him at just the wrong moment, but Gaspard also forced himself to be kind, it wasn't her fault that he was annoyed with her, it was likely that she had no idea that she was interrupting him. Smiling at her mildly, he raised an eyebrow as he ushered the younger elemental inside "Zina. Is there something I can help you with?" He hoped that the girl would be quick, as his patience wasn't in very great supply at the moment.

Simon never had time for her anymore. Zina tried to keep the petulant pout off her face, but still she could feel the corners of her mouth twist unhappily. She didn’t get to visit him that often during the school year; normally they just picked a place midway for the both of them, or he’d come to Durmstrang and she’d slip off to Belushya Guba for the weekend. But now he was busy all the time with council things, and the only times she got to see him he’d hurriedly review her progress before disappearing again.

Ugh. Neglect!

Inverness was nice, but by now the acolytes were wise to her tricks and she was absolutely and completely barred from entering the shrines at night. Zina tried bribery and coaxing, and even promised to be on her best behaviour for the next week, but still they didn’t budge. So what else was she going to do? Stay in the cramped little box they had set up as a temporary room? No thank you. Zina Gorshkova was going visiting, and no one was going to stop her!
Easier said than done, of course. Having visited Inverness many times she never managed to navigate her way through the sleeping quarters, because nothing interesting ever goes on there. More than one occasion she had been to Gaspard’s room (although whether he entertained her willingly was up for debate), but she still managed to find herself lost in the corridors, and it took four grumpy acolytes to point her in the right direction before she managed to find the right one.

Zina’s pout turned into a small smile when Gaspard opened the door. Smiling still felt weird to her, but she’s been told that it made her look less like a mannequin, so she’s been trying to get used to it. “I’m bored!” Unlike her passive expression, the young girl’s tone was bright and chirpy, and she twisted and slipped past him after his initial greeting. “I can’t sleep. What are you doing? Are you going to morph? Can I watch?” Her big eyes opened wider a fraction at the possibility of seeing that, and she bounced on her heels, looking up at him expectantly.
