Blo pursed her lips as she stood in front of the bathroom sink, one hand holding her towel closed, and the other hand applying lotion to her face. If Julian didn’t shut up about her going on a date, and dressing up for some “special” reason, she was going to drop the towel and beat his ass up and down the hallway. “Go away Jimmy before I gut check you.” She threatened, her eyes flicking to his image as he laughed in the doorway before he left. It was like having her cousins all over again, trying to get in all of her business.
When she got back to her bedroom, she stared at the mess that was all over except for the bed, where the chosen few outfits were chosen. When Blo was invited to this party, she’d become a mess of nerves. She didn’t know what to wear, how to style her hair, what type of make up to put on. She’d dragged out outfits she hadn’t even worn for years. It wasn’t surprising that she was so off-center. Of course she would be, seeing as Ksenia made her act a mess. She stuttered a bit, blushed often, and could barely meet the other woman’s eyes. She didn’t quite know why, and it bothered her so much, but she was drawn to the other woman.
After putting on her underwear and layering on her favourite lotion and perfume combo, she stood in front of her bed, her hands on her hips. As she stared at what she was going to wear, she let out a running string of curses, unable to make decisions. Finally she just grabbed something,
wiggling into it and sliding on a nice pair of heels. It was already late, and she didn’t want to be that person.
When the Jamaican arrived at the flat, she blinked at the amount of people that were there. It was a crush, and she had to weave in and out through the people. Big brown eyes flicked around for a moment, before she was trapped in Ksenia’s gaze. She stopped in place, swallowing slightly, before giving the other woman a brilliant smile, cheeks flushed. She shifted from foot to foot as Ksenia approached her, biting her scarlet coloured bottom lip, and eyes darting to the ground before flicking back upwards.
Blo let out a bit of a happy sigh when Ksenia’s warmth surrounded her, and snuggled a bit into the girl. She met Ksenia’s gaze evenly, nose wrinkling when ‘Kincaid’ came out of the woman’s mouth. “Me name’s Blo, but you know this, yeah?” She giggled slightly, pushing wavy hair behind her ears. She giggled girlishly again at the compliment, eyes darting down. “Thank you…you look nice too.” Looking around, she checked the crowd. “It’s rather crowded here, yeah? You must throw a good party…”
Ksenia mentioned drinks, and Blo inwardly balked, hand reaching up to rub a bit anxiously on her chest. Just the idea of having an attack in front of Ksenia made her heart rate speed up. But how was she supposed to say she didn’t drink and not sound boring. “I don’t drink, but I’ve something if I need to happy up…” She petted her purse where she’d thrown her stash bag, just in case. “If you’ve juice, I’ll be happy to destroy that for you…” Tilting her head and giving Ksenia a brilliant smile, she then blushed and looked down.
F**k, she was a mess.
