C’est au bout du monde. The idea that Lilou could be anywhere right now thrilled her. Of course, she was seventeen, not twenty-two, so her parents still expected her to be home at six-thirty for dinner everyday. A strange request, considering how they didn't really care when she'd steal over to the nearest muggle shop just to buy those cheap cigarettes she liked so much right after the meal, and then staying out well into the dead of night. That, and how her mother had declared that they had to walk over her lifeless body before she'd agree to let Lilou drop out of Beauxbatons. Beyond those two things, she was completely free.
She'd been living in Toulouse far too long, with frequent trips to the city, to really remain amazed at Paris for very long before she got used to everything. She felt like she
dressed appropriately enough to blend in with the tourists, who were, for some reason, all excited to go into buildings that have been in Paris for many years, and would continue to remain in Paris for many more. It was very beautiful; even for someone as skeptical as she could be, Lilou had to admit that there was just a little magic to the city if it could make her feel like she was one of those tourists. Although hopefully not one of the children who was dripping ice cream everywhere.
It was no surprise that her first stop was Montmartre. Her schedule, which was really just a dogeared little muggle guidebook she found on her sister's bookshelf stuffed into the pathetic little piece of leather called a purse, listed a number of things she should be doing in a day, and she had every intention of doing all of them. If there was any day to be boring and completely predictable, it was today. Anything, really, to postpone the earful that she was going to get from her mother when she got home. It's a pity she had next to zero sickles to her name and a sister who was quick to agree with their mother on everything.
Ça assure pas.So there she was, on the top of the stairs leading to the famed Sacré-Cœur, with her arms spread out like she was about to take flight and her fingers skating through the slight breeze. She could feel the same familiar feeling of weightlessness, of the invincibility that she'd sell her soul for; not that it was worth very much. Her eyes were closed, but she could feel her lashes brush against her skin as a small smile worked its way to the corners of her lips... As well as someone staring at her. Not that she was one to brag, but Lilou was used to people looking at her. Between the way she dressed and the tendency to flirt with any and everyone, it was no surprise that she got her fair share of attention- wanted or otherwise.
"You know, if you're trying to get me to talk to you, maybe you should try to look less like a wounded puppy." Her little hint of a smile turned into a full-blown grin as she waved at the curly-haired boy to get his attention. Unceremoniously, she moved to plop herself down right next to him, making sure the ends of her long blonde hair brushed against him, before making herself comfortable on the steps. "So, before I determine you're friend or foe, chocolate ice cream with red wine; match made in heaven or an insult to Dionysus? You have thirty seconds to make your case, go."
