The inside of the shop was quaint, with oaken shelves lining the perimeter of the rather rectangular-shaped space. On those shelves were various necessary pieces of Quidditch regalia and equipment that were split up between boys and girls, and then by position. below the shelves were tables of various team specific merchandise meant for fan use. In the dead center of the store was the counter and broom case, where they showcased the newer model brooms, but not the newest. That spot was reserved for the window, where the newest broom was sat in all of its glory.
The owner Raph Ravenswood, stood at the counter, ringing customers up at the till. Elias and Seph stood off to one side, in deep conversation about the recent playoff match. "Did you see that play, Elias?" said the older ex-Gryffindor, whom was Raph's son. Elias nodded in practiced enthusiasm, but the truth was he just liked being near the attractive older boy.
"O-Oh.. Yeah. The Cannons really clinched it with that play!" he said looking eye to eye with the rather short adult man. Elias had been friends with Seph since Seph's parents became their next door neighbors a decade ago. He was like a cooler second older brother, up for really anything. The one thing they had in common, but Seph was clearly more into it than Elias was, was Quidditch. Seph could talk about it for hours, and not get bored. Elias on the other hand liked it, but after hours of analyzing a single play with Seph, it started losing its appeal.
"They did! One minute longer and they would have lost!" The older male's eyes practically lit up when he spoke. Elias nodded in agreement, absentmindedly folding up a piece of parchment in his hand.
Elias looked towards the window a bit, looking outside for a split second. There were several people outside, their eyes were glued to the new model of broom out. Some were adults with children, others were school-aged like him, none that he could recognize immediately though.
