Niko knew it was a lot of information to take in. He had been younger than Memphis was now when he was first introduced to the council and the way things were done. The rules and rulings of his harbingers sometimes struck him as too harsh or not flexible enough, but he was loyal through and through. He couldn't imagine what would have happened to him if the council hadn't found him when they did. They saved his life and most likely his sanity. The Russian was forever in their debt.
Memphis seemed to have specific things on his mind, but Niko didn't pry. He had only met the young Typh, after all. All he could do right now was make sure the young man knew he could come to him if he ever had any questions. He shook hands, firm but not too overpowering. Niko had many years of practice with this sort of thing. "Niko, remember?" he teased with a smile. "If I am not away from Inverness, I almost always have time," he replied. "Come find me at my quarters, out behind the Incin temple." His smile broadened at the offer of a drink. "I think I would like that very much. I know some good Russian drinking dens I can show you." He rarely visited anymore, but he had once frequented a number of pubs and bars.
"And Memphis? If you ever need anything, advice or help, don't be afraid to come and ask it of me." With that the two men parted ways, each about their own business, thinking their own thoughts.
