10:16 AM | Main Square of Hogsmeade

Snow swirled across the little bustling village of Hogsmeade, rustling the trees, and billowing out the cloaks of witches and wizards that were milling around the square. Elias Deyer was on a mission to buy a present for a certain curly-haired Gryffindor, and as it was their first Christmas officially together, he wanted to make it extra special. Admittedly it was a little early to be buying presents, but he wanted to make sure that he had enough time to make a present if he couldn't find one in the weeks leading up to Christmas. Holiday time had always been special to Elias, so he wanted to make his special someone feel as festive as he did. He grinned at the thought of Parker opening his present on Christmas Eve, in front of his parents fireplace, and the older boy's face lighting up.

He passed in front of a window on his way to The Three Broomsticks, where he was going to eventually meet up with some schoolmates to study. He glanced in as he walked passed and saw someone he thought he recognized. He stopped short, and headed into the store. He thought at the very least, they may or may not be able to help him with his plans for Parker's present. "Hello," the sixth year said as he tapped the person on the shoulder. "Out shopping too?"

So we can take the world back from the heart-attacked, one maniac at a time we will take it back

Timothy was looking at what appeared to be a very old painting. Timothy always felt some kind of attraction to old artifacts. He was always fascinated by the story of why these things existed, why they were where they ended up. It had always been that way for Timothy, a mind that was always asking questions. Perhaps it was his academic mind or perhaps it was just down to his desire to know his surroundings. Timothy enjoyed looking at art most of all because art was a representation of a story, a story capturing the moment in which the history it depicts was happening. It was like a view back in time to see what it was like wherever the painting had been.

Timothy felt a tap on his shoulder and he turned to see a sixth year Slythrin that he recognized from a conversation the two had at the start of term feast. Elias was his name. "Oh, hello Elias! It's been some time since I've seen you! Yes, I am out gathering some gifts for my family and some supplies for the classroom. I figured that it would be best to start before the rush of people start swarming here and Diagon Alley. What is it that you're looking for?" Timothy smiled.
