Muggles held some of the most beautiful treasures, ones the young witch wanted for herself. Mishka had stolen a great many things in her lifetime but she always wanted to steal more desirable things. To the Bulgarian it wasn’t theft it was the simple acquisition of something she deemed to be hers. Her innocent brown eyes were set soley on the Kohinoor diamond itself. As precious as a crown would look atop her pigtails she wanted the sparkly, eye-catching jewel that would still her beating heart. She leaned against a tree, resting her right foot, clad in a black laced tennis shoe, on the rough bark. Her black shorts stopped just where her thighs began and the deep grey halter she wore surprisingly showed no cleavage.
Her usually loose pigtails were wrapped into neat buns, held in place by beautiful satin ribbons. As always, one in her mouth and two in her hair, the lollipops rested there, safely against the buns on either side of her head. A small hand rose to pull the dark purple lollipop that occupied her mouth through her lips, which pursed a bit as she considered her options. She was hesitant, which was unnerving, thoughtful even of her next steps. She hated measuring! She wanted to play without having to think of things but muggles had a weird sense of possession that they didn’t deserve. The sucker was popped back into her mouth as she reached to smooth her hair a bit.
Her blood was by no means pure but she made up for what she lacked in her sheer will to do the unthinkable. The formerly housed Azkaban prisoner had done her worse under the devotion of someone else. Her true goal in life had always been simple, please the person she loved the most. Whether it be violence or theft nothing asked of her would be denied. Mishka wasn’t built to be left alone. She grew bored rather quickly without the proper stimulation and in doing so did the most reckless things. It
had been boredom that had driven her to rob those muggles banks with the use of magic. Her full lips curved into a smile as she thought of all the chaos she’d caused. Oh, what fun!
This would surely top that, of that she was sure. As light as a feather she moved from where she rested to easily slip into the flow of the sidewalk traffic. She shifted, spinning on the tip of her toes, dancing through the walking people without putting a falter in their step. In turn she was rewarded as her shoes touched the street, her small hands full of things that belonged to complete strangers. She turned and ran right into someone else’s body, the objects clattering to the ground in the confusion. “Whoa!” Came her exclamation as she rocked back on her heels, taking a few quick steps back the frown etched into her beautiful features.
“So rude!” She muttered when she’d been the one to run into this person at the waist to pick up her things. She looked up from the ground and paused for just the slightest second before reaching to pick up just the galleons she’d dropped, letting the tickets to whatever social event flow in the wind. She’d spotted a bracelet before she reached for it, knowing she couldn’t leave something that sparkled so nicely behind. In all the commotion she hadn’t noticed that the sucker dropped from her mouth onto the ground. She stared, longer than needed, at the fallen candy, before she stood. “That was a perfectly good mischief sucker.” She stated in her singsong voice.
“Are you okay?” She added lastly, remembering once having seen someone else do the same. Was it better to show concern for the state of others, whether it be physical or emotional? The young Bulgarian didn’t truly care but she felt this was the better route to get along with the day she had planned.
