“Weh-ding-!” Sorcha sang out at the top of her lungs as she sprint-skipped through the influx of bodies in Diagon Alley towards her very own totally recognizable and always the most colorful in the crowd, Morwen. It was a rather skillful series of maneuverings through the bustle; a push here and a friendly shove there. It was manageable, no worries on this end! Sorcha successfully closed the gap of distance between herself and her bang-bearing sister from another mister with only a few looks of disproval. Not that she noticed.

With only a few steps left of the mini-trek, Sorcha expertly tossed her small purse to her backside, got some height assistance from a nearby bench (only two-thirds occupied!), and attempted the saddest looking leap over a caged owl.

Um. LANDED IT!

The lip bite of self-awe was just for her because there wasn’t enough time to perseverate on it when that store bell was what Sorcha was after. The perfect ending to all of the aforementioned shenanigans! Just waaaaaait for iiiiiiit…! “- ding- DONG!” She finished and on cue gave a slap of the store bell dangling outside!...

“Well, that was a let down.” She said completely miffed. “Stupid bell is busted.” She kept flicking it to no avail. “That really went over much better in my head. It would have been right on cue! Now I just look like a total wank.” She waved a hand around at her side, acknowledging her rough-housed entrance to all those walking by. Rubber necks. Sorcha’s ponytailed head fell back and she let out a dramatic groan. “The worst.” Straightened arms strained against her purse strap in order to keep in her mild fit of annoyance at events outside of her control, aka: everyone around her. But, she eventually relaxed and gave a small swipe at her forehead to rearrange her hairs in whatever way gravity had planned.

“So, I’m only like seven minutes late – but did you see all of these humans?!” Hidden by her own set of bangs, her exasperated brow raise was only partially visible through small breaks in her hair. But she was all of a sudden smiling! She let out a small laugh and went for it – hug! Taking a small step back she couldn’t stop grinning, her gapped teeth in full view, even if it was older news! “I would have brought some coffee or something but… uh… late.” Her lips pushed together as she sent a guilty glance to her side at nothing in particular. She only hoped she wouldn’t regret the bonus caffeine boost once they got started. Shopping for an occasion like this was uncharted territory, for sure. “Sorry ‘bout that one.”
