Dante chuckled at Anya's response to his profession. He had to correct her, "Well unless you are a muggle a Murtlap bite really won't do too much for you as for a swooping evil if you are already attacked by one there isn't much I can do afterward since your brain will be devoured." He gave a slight frown as he thought about this. He then added, "Though if you are talking about its venom then you would lose your memories which would also be quite difficult to restore." He kept his frown feeling bad about the idea of her losing her memory of him. Sure they had only just met, but if she had forgotten him already it would be a sad moment for the healer. He hadn't had many conversations with someone of the opposite sex before and had a good time talking. Sure he had talked to many people before, but something about this woman made him feel both at ease and nervous. Maybe it was his past trying to rear upon him again he didn't know. Either way, he would feel terrible if he lost her friendship.
A wooden cart soon pushed past them and Dante felt the grip on his hand tighten. He quickly looked down and back up. What had made her so tense? Was she ok? He gave a gentle and quick squeeze back in an attempt to tell her silently that he was there and it was ok. He didn't know if this would work or not, but hopefully, it would relieve any stress or fear she may have suddenly experienced. Dante wondered what was on this woman's mind normally. For him he was usually thinking of family and work, but what about her? What made her tick? Her job? Her interests? Traveling? What made her function every morning? What kind of food did she eat? What about hobbies? Did they maybe share a mutual one? They could bond over something together. Dante wondered if she painted. They could take an art class together maybe one day. That would be nice right?
She apologized quickly for gripping his hand and suddenly moving. He gave a dorky smile and let go of her hand and raise it to her shoulder and brought her close to him. The two would be in very close proximities to each other so Dante said quickly to try and displace any confusion or fear that may arise in her mind, "Stay close and I will protect you from any rogue obstacles." His face became focused as he looked up and down the busy street keeping an eye out for any people who may intrude on them. Hopefully, they would make it to their destination soon so if she was indeed uncomfortable in this situation she could get away and breath for a second. Dante continued walked saying, "Sorry if this is uncomfortable, but we should be there soon."
Anya continued with questions though and Dante decided to answer this as quickly as possible. He didn't want her to feel awkward in this situation he put them into. "Since I work for creature induced injuries the less dangerous an animal is the more I'm likely to like it. Would prefer anything without claws or fangs, but I haven't thought about it much. Might be more into plants than animals overall. As for my favorite color, I take a shine to reds mostly. When I was younger I liked pinks and purples the most and any kind of pastel." He thought of some of the painting he did when he was younger and how bright and colorful they were and how they would lift his spirits in his troubled times. "If I had to be specific I think burnt sienna would be my absolute favorite color as its a dominant color used in most sunset paintings." As they continued their more hurried pace dodging and weaving through the crowds of people. "Almost there," Dante said hurriedly as he took the lead on their movements and soon the shop came into view. When they made out of the crowds Dante let go of Anya and gave her a big goofy smile. "We made it!"
