Shop Name: Fioriture
Street Address: 4 Vicolo di Rose, Sector 1
Owner: The Omertà
Employees: Grazia Carducci (NPC), Cosima Vivanti (NPC)
Hiring: full and part time employees. Please enquire to Signorina Luciana Bertinelli
Hours:
Monday to Saturday: 7am until 6pm
Sundays and Holidays: 8am until 12pm

Merchandise: A florist. Available to purchase are both ready-made and made-to-order bouquets and floral arrangements; both magical and mundane plants; and a small selection of pots and vases. Fioriture can also cater to large events and weddings, ranging from buttonholes to show-stopping centrepieces.

Description: Overflowing buckets of fresh flowers frame the entry to Fioriture.  The door is laurel green, left open during business hours, and the windows always have some sort of seasonal display.  Inside, everything looks as one would expect - various blooms and plants both magical and mundane fill every surface including the tiled floor - bar a small path leading through the shop.  The counter is to the left, with rolls of twine, lengths of ribbon and sheets of coloured paper neatly organised ready for wrapping bouquets.  Pots and vases are stacked in a corner, and a small chandelier hangs from the high ceiling.  In spring and summer fresh, fragrant aromas fill the room, and in autumn and winter the more musky, spicey scents.  It isn't uncommon for watering cans to periodically float around the room.  Fioriture is usually staffed by two full-time employees, with additional help brought in during busy periods such as Valentine's Day, Christmas, and wedding season.  Purchases can be couriered to most European destinations.

At the back of the shop, however, are two doors - neither are for the customer.  The wooden door on the right leads to storage and then the alleyway behind.  The creamy-white door on the left leads to a staircase.  This is where the real work is done.  The senior figures of the Omertà meet here, and access is only granted if the correct password is given - it is protected by a Fidelius charm.  The staircase appears to only go up, but say the right words and the tiles at your feet will shift until steps appear leading you underneath the shop.  Down here, the light airiness from above is lost.  There are no windows, no other ways in or out bar one fireplace which is connected to a secret floo network, and only available for use at certain times.  A large oak table occupies most of the space, with comfortable seats all around.  Refreshments are always available, but nothing of true value is ever kept here.  This is a place where plans are made, and orders given.  The Italian Ministry have to this day been unable to find their way in, despite the shop being in the thriving business sector.

Street Address: la piazza cittadina, sector seven
Owner: the omertà (luciana bertinelli)
Employees: numerous npc's
Hours: always open
Merchandise: casino and hotel

Description: il casinò di fortuna (commonly referred to across europe as "fortuna's", and more locally as "the casino") is one of the oldest establishments in neroli. it is located in the heart of the entertainment sector on the main square; though many neroli-natives know that the casino was the entertainment sector in the beginning, and many would say it still is. il casinò di fortuna was founded in 1774 in response to the muggle il ridotto closing in venice. the casino has changed ownership many times over the centuries, most recently falling into the hands of one of the local mafia's, the omertà -- despite this, the casino is known for being legitimate and fair (as casinos go).

the exterior is impressive: imposing and exactly what one would expect as a bastion of italian architecture. the entrance is simply a large opening in the front of the building; there is no need for a door as they are always open. inside, the theme du jour (or, century, really) is gold and lot's of it. the whole casino is ostentatious, though despite its extravagance it is not gaudy. if one were to imagine the sistine chapel as a gambling hall, il casinò di fortuna would personify it perfectly. the main foyer features a large fountain and an area for people to congregate. there is a bar and restaurant, and the concierge for the hotel.

there is an age-line preventing underage wizards from entering the casino proper. the casino hall holds all the usual table games (cards, dice, roulette) plus the wizarding equivalent of slot machines. there's a chip exchange where one can swap their galleons (or other currencies) for chips with which to play. waitresses constantly circulate with trays of drinks (or snacks, if requested) so that guests do not need to leave their tables. like most casinos, there are no windows and no clocks.

the hotel was added later in response to the large number of foreign wizards visiting the italian city. although neroli had other smaller, boutique places to stay, the hotel that was built into the casino was of a different standard. rooms vary from modest twin rooms up to multi-bedroom suites. guests may stay as long as they want (as long as they can afford it), and there are some who permanently live in the hotel.

street address: la piazza cittadina, sector seven
owner: l'omertà  (contact signorina luciana bertinelli)
employees: numerous npc's, always hiring
hours: tuesday through saturday, six pm til late
merchandise: nightclub

description: tri mondi ("three worlds") is a nightclub in the entertainment square in neroli. like many in the square, the building the nightclub is in has been around for centuries, and both the interior and exterior showcase classic roman-style architecture. the nightclub is split across three themed levels which represent earth, heaven, and the underworld. some believe tri mondi is in fact three clubs in one, and the locals sometimes refer to only their favourite level when talking of where they are going for a drink.

the nightclub is owned by the local mafia, l'omertà, but they do not impose their own ideals upon their business, and tri mondi is frequented by both locals and tourists of all affiliations. the nightclub can be rented out for private functions, but this does not come cheaply -- more often a single floor is reserved for exclusive parties. there is an age line at the door, so one must be seventeen or over to enter (unless you are part of the family, and it is impossible to apparate or floo into or out of tri mondi. the entry fee is two galleons.

one enters tri mondi into terra, but this isn't the earth we know. it is lush and green, representing the way the world once was. tropical plants are everywhere you look, broken up by flashes of stone, wood, and tile. a limestone bar fills the entire left wall from the front of the floor to the rear; it's lined with oak stools, and behind it is a living wall with creeping vines and bright, exotic flowers adding pops of colour. the rest of the level is taken up by cosy booths with plush, deep green velvet seating, and a large tiled dancefloor. the room is broken up by towering limestone columns.

as one ascends the grand marble staircase to paradiso, they enter a world bathed in white. unlike most nightclubs, the heaven-themed level of tri mondi is lighter and brighter than one might anticipate. the staircase curves around to create the bar for this level, the floors are all marble too, as are the columns that rise to the full height of the vaulted ceilings. the booths on paradiso are made of supple italian leather in off-white, with golden accents. the windows at the front of the level are floor-to-ceiling, and on balmy nights are thrown open to look upon the square below, letting in a warm summer breeze.

if one wishes to, they may descend into inferno. darker and less welcoming than his earthly and heavenly sisters, inferno is a subterranean level that has been hewn from the rock. when the underworld-themed floor was designed, the bertinelli's ordered black marble from spain to maintain the aesthetic of the club, and to show off their wealth; the columns and bar are carved of the dark stone. the room is lit by magical fires, and the seating is made from rich red velvet. crimson silk drapes create the illusion of walls, adding more privacy to this level than terra or paradiso.
