Hello everyone,

It's been a while since I've last read the Harry Potter series and seen the movies, so I might be a bit rusty for a while. I have been roleplaying in live chat free-form style combined with forums since 1999. English is my second language, so may I rely on your indulgence? 

Severus Snape is among my favorite characters of all. With Jean Valjean, he impersonates to me the absolute tragic anti-hero.

I have been fiddling for a while with the idea of adapting a medieval character of mine from my old RPs to the Harry Potter environment. He's a twisted, tormented, dark fellow whom I can introduce either in his late teens or as an adult, I haven't decided yet and it also depend on the forum's needs. One thing is for sure, he'd bend toward being or would be a Death Eater. So those of you who would enjoy some more intense stuff to trigger dynamism, suspense, tension and antagonism in stories, Edgar might be your man.

I play Pyxis here who is a former Deatheater (in the sense that now Voldemort is dead on MH they no longer technically exist, although we do have an on going plot aimed towards reviving them) and so he may know Edgar depending on what age you decide to make him.

The fact that the Death Eaters are seeking revival is a fantastic opportunity for my character.

My intention is to "reintroduce him anew" into the wizarding world after a long leave in the Muggle world (my sample RP in progress will explain more). So he'd basically be a still unknown figure except for those who have studied with him. However, as he has mostly been a fairly quiet type, people may not remember him that well.

Anyhow, I can roll with the punches and take suggestions with pleasure!

Hello all!  My name is BrandiLyn.  I'm a graduate student working a full-time job.  I love roleplaying, and I've been roleplaying on and off online for about fifteen years now.  Harry Potter is one of my favorite series, started with the first one when I was 11 the same year it came out.  My favorite book is Half-Blood Prince, but my favorite movie is Deadly Hallows Part 2.
