it's just as Carys has explained - we all have different characters on the site (character accounts), but most of us also have accounts for who we actually are (called OOC accounts)
I am posting this from my OOC account - my name in real life is Olivia. I am a driver, but I have many characters including @Emma Hennings , @Keela Doyle , and so on!

there are two types of boards here: some are in-character (IC) where you post as your character, and some are out of character (OOC). this welcome thread is an example of an OOC place on the boards, where we do not speak as our characters. but in other parts of the board you do write from your character's perspective

I've signed up almost a year ago but I completely forgot about this website until now, so I'm back here and hoping to actually make a character this time around lol.
