The events of Deathly Hallows lie in the past, however, if you are creating a muggleborn character keep in mind that they will have affected your character's history. If your character was of school age during the time in question, please take note that muggleborns were not allowed to attend Hogwarts during the past school year.
Several options are available. However, the following are the most likely ones:
- Your student could have been on the run for the year, and return after Voldemort's fall.
- Your student could have transferred to Beauxbatons.
