Umm, I'm not sure if April fools is a big thing or not. I mean I've never seen places do anything like this except for here. I don't really know if I'm allowed to post here or not because I'm new and not even sorted, but I think an opinion is an opinion.
I personally, and being new it probably doesn't amount to much, just think that things are pretty amazing how they are. I've got Auguste a bit more done than I expected and the Beauxbatons guides were absolutely wonderful and essentially helpful. I'd hate to see all those postponed for 4 in character years because it makes for such a diverse experience. Same for Durmstrang, though I can't say personally, I think there are people who would prefer to have that option because characters come as they are and it can be hard to mold them to another culture, thus making them obsolete along with any characters invalidated by aging and stuff.
I remember seeing a topic broswing around about a future board where people could RP in the future (to which I agreed to the conclusion of) which said that having a split of time twelve some years in the future would fragment everyone's current plots and that's exactly what is happening here (though eight years in past, mind you) even though the driver was denied their request because of this reason.
EDIT: Alright though I don't think it's too much of a problem, I think this would invalidate Auguste completely? I don't even know, not like I don't have others I wanna make, so I guess it's a flip? ha
