MH/Canon timeline

So, I'm currently in the process of updating a few sheets that desperately need it. While i'm going through the different years and such, I've come to the realization that even though MH ran canon mostly until DH, there are a lot of major events that occurred that I don't recall exactly when they occurred. For example, the Zombie plot at Durm. Its totally an MH plot and irrelated to canon so when i go to add it, there is a lack of detail and i forgot exactly when it occurred. This is similar to BB and Hogwarts plots. There are so many HP canon timelines but not an MH one.


I was wondering if it was feasible if we could as a site put together a timeline that we could use to document all the sitewide events that happen. I wasnt thinking of something technically intense. Maybe just a post for each year with the HP canon events in one colour and distinguish the sitewide/hogwarts/durmstrang/bb plots with a small blurb in line with the book canon.

I just think it will help us all?

The Zombies plot was two years ago IC, near the end of Mieszko's 7th year.
So it was technically during DH playtime.
Then last november was the victory ball/sickness plot.


Marat would have just graduated this year and the elemental attack on bb happened in the middle of his 5th year, so it was three years ago during HBP playtime.

this is all i have to add, though.

I've only been here for a little over 2.5 years, so I really have no idea about most of the board-wide plots that have happened, but I think this is definitely something that we/whoever else knows could all collaborate on and put together.

most recent BB EoT
Kidnapping plot from ages ago
maybe the triwizard tournament that happened several years ago, but not sure that has any residual affect on any chars so maybe scrap that for continuity, idk

oh sorry i should have been more specific. i meant the adult kidnapping thread from many years ago(i think maybe sio's david and samm's memph were involved?)

though I say we do make a cut. A lot of the really old plots were retconned out of sheets as they just don't stand up to the quality of rp now. I know I retconned the adult kidnapping plot everywhere I was involved.

light fever was during HBP... brooklyn had that at the beginning of her seventh year and if we retconned that, i need to take it out of her sheet >>

yeah the triwiz was one I wasnt sure  anyone still had mentioned

is the russian ministry in the durm guide(on my phone, will look after posting). if not I think it would fit there as it explains the school's move from kaliningrad

i'm... not sure. i know it was in the durmstrang history that jasmin and i wrote, but i'm not sure if it's in the new one. *runs to check*
