It was time to go home, to face the things he had been running from. Strangely he knew that going back was the only thing acceptable at this point. He didn't feel like going back to the flat to see Jessica because she was a bit grumpy as of late. He knew that maybe on a level it had everything to do with how he had been treating her as of late, but honestly he didn't give a damn. They weren't what one would call a true couple. Yes, they went out and they had sex. But there was no commitment as she had destroyed that with her cheating early on. As he walked down the street his hand found its way into the pocket of his grey dress pants before blue eyes rose to look out before him. The last thing he wanted was to bump into someone. His main concern was if he would have to see Farren right away or if he could get by without doing so for a few days. As much as he wanted to be in her presence it made him wonder if it would make his situation worse. If seeing her would make his realization that much more apparent now that he had stopped fighting the facts. Oh he wondered a lot since he had actually started to think about things.
Pausing; he leaned against a tree as he pulled his hands from his pocket to light a much needed cigarette. As he drew through the filter his body relaxed instantly. His mind seemed to clear as well, allowing him to order his thoughts perfectly. He knew he would avoid her for a bit of time because it had been far too long since he had seen her. He had left her without word after a night of drinking had turned into something he was not capable at the time of handling. He knew that he wrath from that would be a lot to deal with. As his right hand rose to pull the cigarette from his mouth a flash of red caught his eye. Blue eyes rose to watch her as she walked towards him. Instantly he wondered if the red was natural and was more inclined to find out himself. Curiosity was a killer he had been told, but it in case it was a nice game of cat and mouse. Pushing off the tree he dropped the rest of his cigarette on the ground and stepped on it to put it out.
Before he could move to approach her he watched her bag fall to the pavement and frowned slightly at the rudeness of the man that had caused it to happen. With a shake of his head he took a few steps towards her before kneeling to grab a pair of lacy underwear from the ground near his feet. His eyes stayed on her as he did so, watching her gather the things that had scattered around her like more underwear. He came to a stop next to her, holding out his hand to help her from the ground. "Are you okay...? Here...I..well.." He held out the woman's underwear for her to take. "You seemed to have let these get away from you." With that he gave her a slight smile. "I didn't loo I promise...I won't look now.." He lifted his free hand to covered his closed eyes just to be sure he didn't look at the underwear she had taken from him. He smiled softly before speaking again. "Can I open my eyes now?" He brought his hand to hold it out for her to shake. "I'm Terrence...I figure its the least I could offer you after handing you your own underwear."
