Inside Out and Upside Down [Elaine & Eva]

(My imagination was running wild, tell me if this is not okay << or just act like it's a regular club ^^)

Julian had learned about a club from a client and old friend of his whom told the wizard he would be working tonight and had managed to get them V.I.P access as a gift for doing his tattoo work for a discounted price and taking pictures of his newborn son. John was pleased with Julian's tattoo work and, though taking pictures of babies wasn’t categorically Julian’s forte, his wife was elated by the outcome of the pictures nonetheless. The former Slytherins’ profession did come with benefits when he got to know the right people, and it helped that he was so agreeable, especially since the prize turned out to be more than rewarding.

Gravity was the name of the freshly opened wizard club in south London. The outside was marked by a tiny gap flat in between two closed shops that externally looked completely shabby and a little questionable. Even when entering the door perplexed looks were expected, there were only two buff body guards in the room sitting at a small wooden table. One to provide extra security and the other for coat check and things of the like. After being instructed to drink a potion one would then take their wand out as the activator and overall permission into the club entrance. The person/s are warned before hand but it is still a surprise when being suspended up and into the open entrance, as if there the entire time. It was a fleetingly thrilling feeling, like an elevator going down too fast but not as harsh as to throw you off your balance, which was important for the ladies wearing high shoes. Magical folk would be relieved of its easy and releasing feeling, compared to that of apparation, and once you passed the exhilaration of the jump you would realize you were upside down without the risk of your skirt turning up or your drink spilling out.

It had taken Julian all of a few minutes to adjust to the exciting yet disorienting feeling of being upside down but he managed and was absolutely enjoying the inventiveness of it all, noting that the ceiling and/or the floor was designed precisely symmetric to one another. The tattooed wizard was standing off the side of entrance to the wizard club, smoking a cigarette as he leaned up against the wall, observing the people around him with a smirk and impish interest. Some of the girls there were already toasted and past the point of strict judgment he thought as he watched one girl stumbling out the exit door (people that were too intoxicated were turned up right) with a plump man bearing a huge smile. This was all very amusing especially since Julian had already hit the main bar in the middle of the dance floor and taken a few shots while he waited for the girls to arrive. It was hard not to be drawn back into dance floor of the club, with its glowing lights and things, but Julian thought against the idea the more he stood there watching all the people filling in and out.

He thought briefly if the staff had had any problem with people throwing things at them below before he heard someone say, “You’re hot,” He looked to see one young woman and her girlfriend walking past him, obviously filled with liquid confidence and smiling like fools. Julian knew her drunk state of mind was the reason for her rather bold statement but laughed quietly anyway, nodding at the girl as she passed, “I’ll see you inside then.” The girls weren't particularly impressive or outstanding looking but Julian was in a playful mood. He was feeling easy and quite honestly thrilled at the idea of the three were all getting drunk together again. He’d never really forget his time with the pair of witches and often reminisced of their gregarious time and travels together. Not to mention his eternal gratitude with letting him stay at their home for a brief time when he was at such an unsteady point in his life.

There was only one small problem. His mild concern being the last encounter he’d had with the rainbow haired one. Their night hadn’t exactly ended on relish terms and he was hoping that this night would go considerably smoother than their last visit. His only way of really coping with said events was something a friend of his had told him once a long time ago. The only way to get over someone is to get under someone else, a very irrational way of thinking, but he’d taken a girl home from the bar not too long after. It was mostly to get Eva out of his head, along with the problems that came with it, seeing as Eva had even said herself that the idea of feelings for her were ridiculous. They barely saw one another...she was right.

Not to mention the fact that he'd felt completely emasculated as a man by her words, something he was not likely to reveal to the Bulgarian at any point. Even mulling over it again made him feel like he had to prove himself somehow like sucker punching the first guy who looked at him wrong. The wizard didn't have to let her words gnaw at his brain but Julian was unsure if it was something he could ever over look enough to try again with the woman. He'd ultimately have to let it go to maintain his friendship with her and have a good time. He looked to his watch again, wondering silently if he should procure another drink or not, before looking up and spotting a bit of wild colored hair from the corner of his eye.
Maybe I'm too busy being yours to fall for somebody new

Now I've thought it through; crawling back to you
