[solved] time turners

So Nessa wants to acquire a time turner but its not on the magical item list (unless im blind...) and I was wondering if it was possible for her to have one? I assumed it would be a special item so I will pay for it if necessary. xDD

I might be wrong about this, buttt I don't think we're able to get [new] Time Turners anymore because the Ministry's entire stock was shattered/destroyed during OotP, when Harry and co. fought the DEs in the Department of Mysteries?

The entire stock of Time-Turners, located in the Time Room, in the Ministry of Magic were rendered useless during the Battle of the Department of Mysteries in 1996. While not "destroyed" per se, due to the way one of them fell when their counter was knocked over, the entire stock was trapped in an endless loop of falling over, un-falling, and then re-falling, in an encless cycle for all eternity, and are thus unable to be used. what if someone already had a time turner would it of been affected by this as well?

If it was already in the person's possesion, I don't imagine that particular Time Turner would have been directly affected (i.e. rendered useless). However, because the Ministry highly regulates them, they may or may not have decided to retract all existing Time Turners - that part I'm just speculating on, though.

hmm. thats pretty intense.

she'd want to use it to be in two places at once and get more enchanting projects finished. (kind of how hermione used it to be able to take more classes at hogwarts) so she would technically be changing history so I'm thinking she wouldn't be approved for that. Not through ministry channels anyway. Nessa has little emotion so she wouldn't try to get his sympathy, she would come at him from more of a scientific angle.

So perhaps we play out the thread we talked briefly about having with the two of them and if she can convince him to sell her one off the record then I will apply for it? If your okay with that?
