It was snowing!

Properly snowing! Erika was rather happy indeed. She adored snow, she thought it was simply the best thing ever. Despite being twenty four years old, she frequently beat her much younger siblings outside and was usually the first one to erect a rather impressive snowman. It was a dark, chilly London evening. The sun had just set and the temperatures had plummeted dramatically. The capital city was still suffering from the post-festive blues. Christmas lights and decorations were being taken down and life was trundling along as normal. How depressing.

The tall blonde had her nose pressed up against the window, her deeply blue eyes wide as she eagerly watched the delicate little snow flakes drift through the air. It wasn't late, perhaps a little after six in the evening and she really wanted to go outside and do something. Erika was in her kitchen and…not really wearing very much at all. Dressed in a pretty little floral playsuit, her shared town house was warm and comfortable. While alone, her pale fingers adjusted her very short lace trimmed shorts, pulling the fabric a little as she wiggled her bare toes, her nails painted a stylish coral.

Lulu was out, gallivanting with her new boss and while she had the house to herself, Murphy was over. He was still sleeping, passed out on her bed. Erika might have worn him out and the thought made her snort with laughter. She'd discovered that rolling around with the Healer was one of her favourite pastimes indeed. Yawning, Erika tied her hair back into a ponytail absently as she rummaged through the fridge for food. There were bits and bobs; cheese, veggies, oranges and chicken and after a further forage through her cupboards, she found enough to scrape something together. Honestly? She much preferred spending time at Murphy's home because he always had food and Erika loved food.

Blowing at her hair, she set about getting to work. On the menu was chicken stir fry with some bamboo shoots she'd discovered. Originally wanting to be fancy, that soon went out of the window when she found out she'd run out of wine and all she had left was beer. Plus, she was cooking in her lingerie so there was that. Chinese was her favourite kind of cooking because she could just lob everything into a pan, which she proceeded to do. Rattling around her apartment, she threw in some sweet and sour sauce, a good helping of chilli, ginger, bamboo shoots and a selection of other goodies, causing a delicious aroma to waft around her home.

"Ah!" She hissed as the chicken spat at her, causing her to fumble and drop her spatula into the pan. "Balls. Urgh. Ow. Bastard," she grunted, gingerly picking up the utensil and angrily poking the food around the wok as she hoped Murphy would appreciate that she was bothering to make him dinner. Erika was willing to bet those other girls didn't, she thought smugly. She reckoned they always wanted to be wined and dined but she didn't have champagne tastes at all. Ably guiding herself around her mini kitchen, she found two plates and she quickly dished up but he was nowhere to be seen. Was he still asleep?

Frowning, she left her task and crept along the corridor to her bedroom. The curtains to the French doors were open and she tilted her head curiously, drawing closer. "Hey," she whispered, blinking as he didn't stir. "Murphy," she tried again, reaching out to poke one his broad, tattooed shoulders. "Really?" She asked  herself, eyes wide before letting her eyebrows come together in a flurry. This was ridiculous.

Gently, Erika perched on the edge of the bed, the mattress sinking down under her weight. Aww. He was kind of cute when he was sleeping. "Oi," Erika tried again. "Sleeping Beauty, get up. I made dinner. Come on." Waiting, she rolled her eyes and few impatient. "Wakey wakey!" With that, she very gently and playfully slapped the cheek he had closest to her on the pillow.
