Unspeakables [Job info needed for charactersheet]

I am wanting to have my character be am unspeakable and need to known the requirements please send or link any info on this so I can finish filling out my sheet

I'm no admin so you should maybe take my response with a grain of salt, but I think that they would need to be quite extraordinary when it comes to their education, because it's kind of a serious job. For example, Aurors are required to have five N.E.W.T.s of at least 'Exceeds Expectations' as the minimum grade. If I were you, I'd shoot for something around that range, while still being realistic. I would imagine she'd need to have the focus and drive of a very good student, would need to take great care and study for all of her classes, and would need to put her education as a top priority. Unspeakables deal with things of a serious nature, somewhat dangerous in many cases, and need to display trustworthiness, perhaps by an assessment or by being handpicked from another department? Although there is, of course, the possibility of employees making an "Unbreakable Vow" with the Department not to tell the nature of the job? Not really sure. Just my thoughts. Maybe an admin can clear more of this up for you later, but long story short, I'd suggest having top-level grades.

Thanx she was a toss up as a ravenclaw or slytherin when being sorted ambition and cunning won out. I figured that brains and excellent grades were needed just need to know spefics of what classes she need to have taken.

I've had a look at our current unspeakables and to an extent it depends on what department you see Aine working in. We've got one character who works in the Death Chamber (though I think he's inactive now) whose NEWTS are: Defense Against the Dark Arts | O, Tranfiguration | O, Herbology | E, Ancient Runes | E, History of Magic | O, Charms | E and another who works in the Love chamber whose NEWTs are listed as Divination (O); History of Magic (E); Astronomy (O); Potions (E); Herbology (A); Muggle Studies (O).

As for what each department involves, that isn't something we've worked out. With individual Ministry departments we tend to let individual drivers work out their own details because creating that sort of thing is what most of our members find fun. Which part of the department of mysteries ddid you want her to work in? Once we know that we can give you a better idea of what's required.
