Okay. New guidance while I try to circumvent SMF's permissions features.

The restricted permissions of unsorted characters will override any permissions you do have though. As such, unsorted accounts can't assign master accounts.

I'm denying the permission to add (or remove!) master accounts to unsorted accounts. If you've already attached an unsorted account, just let me know and I'll remove it for you.

Is there a specific error that causes certain sorted accounts to not have permissions to add/remove master accounts?

Not one the beta testers found, but I'm beginning to think so! I'm looking into it now.

I've tried the setting on Jo, Emily, and Clem and either I'm really dumb or can't see the permission to link them to Reagan.

Try again now?  I think it's a problem with the way permissions for certain membergroups are set up. I've fixed some, including Dark Wizard.

Right. I found the problem. It was a technical one that I shan't bore you with. I've think I've now manually added the permissions to all of the problematic groups though its entirely possible I've still missed one

Anyone that has had problems, please try again now and let me know if its working.
