I was perusing the special items/creatures list and noticed there is no longer the option to purchase a dragon or other creatures that used to be on the list. Im curious to know why if I can. Are they special circumstances only or are they no longer a thing?

And would I have to "purchase" the dragon if my character is only training it and it belongs to someone else (i.e. They worked for a circus or a private owner)?

Which other creature are you looking to purchase that's not already on the list? @Medusa

My opinion in that case is that, no, you don't have to purchase a dragon if your character is just a dragon trainer. The person who owns the circus would technically be the owner of the dragon and that might need special approval?
I don't know if anyone has already answered this question via skype, but I thought I'd respond since it's been so long. Other admins' input very welcome! ^^;

I guess this question changes now that i have more info. The MacFustys I guess do actually own their dragons, since they are the head of the breeding family (per canon). I assume that means I would have to apply for the real life dragons (and ask for a discount cause i remember one dragon being like 2000) even though they aren't on the list anymore? (unless i am the blind)

Mini dragons are still on the list

I always took it as the list was for those seeking personal pets/familliars for their characters. I don't think it applies to dragons that are apart of a dragon reserve and not a personal companion of your character? That's why mini dragons are on the list, but their larger counterparts are not.

If that makes sense?

Ohhh, okay i can see that. I'll keep asking around to figure out what i should do for that, since the dragons are part of a reserve and are part of a circus, but for all intents and purposes they belong to my char and she takes them around with her.

As far as I remember, we only ever had mini dragons on the list, though I could be wrong. I think we were working on some clarification regarding the training and management of real dragons. Though I am vague and will need to be reminded about this because I will forget in about 5 minutes from now... <333
