Perhaps it was time to get out of his dorm, branch out a little, live a little, breathe fresh air, and maybe get a scone from the bakery. The energy just wasn't there. He had been devoting all his time to his studies and it seemed like a social life was something of the past - though he never truly had one. Tavish was always one to make plans and break them. Parties never happened, dates were canceled, he often was known as "the sick kid" because he rarely even came down for dinner and preferred to eat alone. It wasn't that he was a flake, he just had somewhat of a social anxiety towards people. He found them fascinating and when the time came to actually interact he was fine, it was just - the idea of all the negativity in the air and perhaps it turned towards him made him a little queazy.
Tavish spent most of his days dreaming or in a book, studying, writing, or sometimes strolling the gardens. But these were always done alone. It was a Saturday afternoon and he was allowed for a Hogsmeade visit this weekend and he was actually going to go. No more hiding, he was growing too pale. So, he decided he'd go for a quick pastry and a cup of tea and perhaps he would buy a new book from the bookshop or a journal since he had filled his last.
Adjusting his shirt, he made his way towards Hogsmeade and eventually reached the long street full of shops and bustling people. It was a rather nice day out today and he was able to even wear a short sleeved shirt which allowed some sun to reach his pale skin. Walking down the street alone was rather frightening and a shock to his system but he needed this, he needed to be challenged.
He finally found his way to Crumbs bakery. He let himself inside and took a place in line. His eyes widened as he saw a red velvet cupcake sitting in the display. The thing was massive. His mouth salivated slightly as he went up to order, she handed him the cupcake and told him she would bring out his tea when it was ready.
Turning to go to his seat he quickly rushed to a corner booth. "I quite hope someone I know appears.." he murmured to himself.
