[Announcements] Hogwarts Important Dates

[div style="width:500px;text-align:justify"] Oh Hey! It's [toy]Toya[/toy], your friendly neighborhood Hogwarts Admin! I'd like to take the time to give all drivers with Hogwarts students or Teachers some important information for the following months.

The current school term ends this Saturday, 05 December. This means that after this date, no more posts can be started on Hogwarts Grounds. Posts can be completed up until 20 December, when the yearly purge of threads in Hogwarts Grounds will begin. Make sure to collect any threads and FPP points by that date.

Sheet updates may be begun now, and you have until 20 December to complete them, or your character will be stuck in the same year for the upcoming school term. Exceptions will only be made with characters aging out of school or other circumstances.

Any driver who has applied for a professor must complete the sheet by 5 January, or you will have to reapply for the position. If professor positions are not filled by 15 January that class will be not played until an appropriate and active teacher can be found.

This next school term, there are going to be a lot of exciting events and plots happening. The Hogwarts Team hopes that you and your characters appreciate the brief respite from the Halls of Hogwarts. More announcements will be made as it gets closer to the beginning of the new term.

[div style="width:350px;text-align:justify;"]After compiling a list of characters who have not completed their sheet updates by the deadline, we will be extending the deadline for updates by 24 hours.

You have until 11:59:59 PM EST on December 21st to complete sheet updates for Hogwarts students. After this point, sheet updates will not be permitted unless the student is being aged out of school. Student sheet updates will be permitted again during the Summer 2001 playtime.

At this time, students are encouraged to take advantage of the site-wide plot for school-age characters, Academy Athena, the International Summer School. Students are offered the opportunity to explore different areas of magical education and spent time around students from Beauxbatons and Durmstrang.

Additionally, after this post, the Hogwarts School forums (excluding the Hogsmeade board), will be cleaned completely. Please keep your eye out for your student's Hogwarts Letter sometime in the next month!

[div style="width:350px;text-align:justify;"]To coincide with recent playtime changes, sheet updates for Hogwarts students have been extended until 11:59:59 PM EST on January 31st. This is the deadline for all students aging up, excluding seventh years aging to adult characters, and any pending professor applications. Any professor positions without sorted characters will not be played during the upcoming term.

As a side note, the Arithmancy position is currently open and one that we would love to see filled.

Just a Reminder folks!

Hogwarts is still closed for posting. Please do not respond to any topics on the board. There is still exciting plot things happening, and I'd hate to make people change things. ^^

Also, students can write as if their Hogwarts Letters have been sent out, and make trips to Diagon Alley and other wizarding areas.
