auror department

Since Rufus Scrimgeour and Pius Thickness are dead/not around anymore, and Harry isn't set to become Head of the Auror Department for another 5 years, can I apply to have my WIP Septimus fill that position for the time being? He has 40+ years of experience and fought in both wars. I would have to fiddle with his backstory but I would like to know if that position is even open to be played.

(Alternatively, the same thing applies for the position of Director of the Investigations Department, which is a step down if there are already admin things happening for the Auror department.)

Closer to the end of the year we'll be opening Department Head and Head Healer positions, so I'd like to save all talks of that until we have the announcement up.

(But more than likely, it won't be a problem.)
