Sorry this took so long. I got just home from a week-long training session for my new job. >__<
I don't have full descriptions for all the classes, but I can share what I have with you and then tell you what the other classes would be equivalent to.
Aquatic Healing - Aquatic Healing teaches the basics of water medicine and serves as an introductory course needed to gain acceptance into the Wetterstrand School. In this class, students will make monthly trips to the Koldovstoretz lake to learn about the different creatures that inhabit it, as well as trips to the Siberian coastline. In addition, students will also learn the basics of muggle medicine and will learn how to apply these concepts to healing of their own.
Stormweaving - Harnessing the power of the elements has long been a staple in the magic community. Seen as taboo in some circles, Stormweaving is an intricate art that relies on focused attention to perform the spells it requires. The Stormweaving class at Koldovstoretz is an introductory course meant to introduce students to this powerful art and educate them on the dangers of performing such magic without proper training. As students progress in the class and onwards to NEWT-level classes, their knowledge of the subject will progress to an intermediate level.
Draconian Magic - In the realm of magic, dragons represent wisdom and balance. In this course, students will learn the power of dragons and learn the basics of performing spells that are fueled by the symbolism and energy of dragons. In addition, students will learn about the elemental properties associated with dragons as well as learn the dangers of chaotic dragon magic.
History of Magic - History of Magic is a required class for all students attending Koldovstoretz. The class is a study of the old ways of the wizarding world, that not only include topics about wizarding wars and great accomplishments, but old pagan rites and their ways that have trickled down into modern wizarding society.
Dragonology - In this course, students learn how to care for and protect dragons, as well as an introduction to the dragon language, medicinal purposes of dragon scales, and how to safely procure a heartstring.
Water Manipulation - Manipulation of the elements has always been a sought after skill. In this course, students learn the theory of creating, shaping, and manipulating water in its liquid, gas, and solid form, including changing water from one state to another. Students will learn introductory through intermediate skills in controlling ocean currents, manipulating tides and tidal wave generation, flood creation, water separation, and whirlpool generation. Advanced students can learn to make hydrokinetic constructs, including walls, armor, and weapons.
