Is it me or is it bloody hot in here? (Amir)

Vincent had read the scroll from Professor al-Busuri several times and ensured that he now had the necessary supplies present. While the blood had not been easy to come by, it had been the animal skeleton that had given him more issue than that. He had searched for days to find something near the house and when he had found a dead weasel in the local park, probably killed by a family pet or other small predator, the looks he received from his parents upon bringing it into the house was a combination of shock and amusement. After a few days cleaning the skeleton of what fur and fatty tissue remained, Vince now had a clean, white skeleton that he had kept in a box he asked one of his brother's to charm to hide some of the lingering smell. Next to the box on the work table he had cleared off in the basement was a very thin bone knife and two vials of blood he had been able to procure.

The note that had arrived came with the same owl that had brought the list of supplies. It had given the time for his arrival as well as some information regarding what they would be studying during their summer session. Vince's family did not have the money, nor Vince the desire, to attend the International Summer Seminar held annually in Greece as they wouldn't be offering any classes in subjects the boy particularly enjoyed or needed additional time working on. Instead, after weeks of working on his parent's he had gotten them to reach out to his favorite professor, Professor al-Busuri, about doing an in home lesson during the summer. Something that would at least keep the boy busy and working towards a little advancement in his Necromancy studies.

Vince walked up from the basement, having ensured that all the required items were present and waited in the family room. Professor al-Busuri would be arriving in about five minutes, but Vince wanted to be ready in case the professor decided to arrive early. None of his school aged brothers had been particularly interested in being around when one of the Durmstrang faculty arrived at the house and as a result, only his father and mother were at home today. While neither of them were overly excited about having to play host either, they had caved to their son's requests after weeks of his working on them. Forward thinking, as always, his father had already cast a translation charm on the home so that when the professor arrived, Vince's father, a former Durmstrang graduate himself, would not have to try his hand at years old Russian and his wife, having little Russian at her command, would not feel left out.

As he waited, Vince realized that his Necromancy text was still in his room in one of the trunks he had brought home from Durmstrang during the summer. Rushing into his room, Vince unloaded his first trunk to no avail. Quickly switching to the second, he found the book buried under several other sets of school robes and texts. It had been one of the first things he had packed to ensure that it had not been left, but he had not yet unpacked, the end of term only having been a month and a half ago and Vince wanting to get back to enjoying his summer off rather than spending too much time on his studies. When he arrived back in, Vince heard a faint pop outside the home, a sign that certainly meant that his visitor was about to arrive.
