Dear MH members,
I wanted to take some time today and clear the air about recent instances that have occurred on MH. I feel it is necessary to say that the Admin Team is here to help all members and that we do our best to keep this site running smoothly. I hope we can all agree that MH is first and foremost a writing community that we can use as a creative outlet. That being said, it is not uncommon to sometimes have issues and we strive to rectify any and all problems that occur. But we need your cooperation.
So pertaining to the recent issue: The Confessions thread was never intended to be a place where drivers can voice their concerns about MH or this community. It was intended to be a place to confess guilty pleasures or your secret idiosyncrasy to connect in new ways to your fellow drivers. Thus, the Admin Team's decision to remove the Confessions thread was never meant to censor our members in any way.
The Admin Team reserves the right to remove any post, at any time, without notice if we feel it is antagonistic toward any other members. MH Rules & Regulations state all drivers should be friendly and polite toward one another so we ask that all members keep this in mind moving forward. Should you have issues or grievances with other members, we ask that you politely contact that person privately and resolve the issue maturely.
The Admin Team strives to make MH a place where ALL drivers can come, write, and have fun. But that also means we are protective of the integrity of our site and want to make sure this is a place where everyone feels comfortable and welcome.
With that being said, we would like to mention the following items:
1) Feedback & the Dev Pool
The
Dev Pool is a forum open to all members where you can share feedback and concerns to discuss with Admins and other members. Please keep in mind that this forum is there for you to use.
2) Your Voice! PM account
Should you not feel comfortable posting your concerns in a public forum such as the Dev Pool, we have also created an account called
Your Vouice where you can send your comments in a PM. I, Ri
nn, will be monitoring the account directly, but the entire Admin Team will have access to said account. I will also mention that if at any time you have concerns that need to be addressed, you are welcome to contact ANY member of the Admin Team and we will try to help you.
3) MH Status Updates
Your feedback has been heard. We agree that the Confessions thread was a good place to share things going on in your life and we want to continue this tradition. We've started a thread called
MH Status Updates where all drivers can post what they've been up to. Feel free to check out this new thread here! (Please keep in mind this thread is not intended for grievances or concerns about other members. Please make use of the other two methods above for those instances.)
Overall, we would like everyone - admins included - to be respectful and courteous to other drivers. Often open communication and civility is the key and the solution to issues. Help us make MH a better place to write!
