Caliece's business had been booming since she opened the doors. Several people had even called her to come out and take a look at their animals on their estate. She couldn't refuse, service to someone who needed it. It was, in fact, part of her oath she had taken after school. She couldn't let an animal suffer, and most of the smaller town people could afford to pay her in full. She took smaller payments, she even took payments in the form of food or other transactions. She was generous for the most part. Caliece wanted to help as many people as she could, it was sometimes hard for her to say no, that she couldn't take somethings from people. The young woman also had to demand payment sometimes as well.
However, today, was no problem. It was a gentleman who owned several snakes, one of which was having a hard time passing eggs, another which wasn't eating. Caliece was good at getting snakes to eat, she wasn't a parstletongue but she knew a few tricks to get them to eat. She smiled at the gentleman and nodded. "I will take good care of your girls, I promise. I'll give you a call when they are ready to go." She had three other surgeries that morning. One of which was a spay on a dog, a knee surgery on a hippogryff and a Kneazle with a tear in his abdomen.
When she heard the bell on her front door, she headed towards the front from the backroom. "Coming, coming!" It was the reason she needed more help. Her receptionist even quit on her so she was down to just herself. It was hard to keep up with all the clients she had. Surgeries were even harder because she had no one to watch the patient. She looked up at the man who had just walked in to her clinic. "How can I help you today, sir?"
