Hey guys,
The plan was to run the first match of the schedule in October, and that match was meant to be Slytherin vs Ravenclaw. However, due to team shortages, especially in Ravenclaw, that would require additional npcs on the teams. As we'd really like to get the first trial game of the new system right, I'd like to know your input on whether another option might be preferable.
Option one - We put up an sign-up sheet for those willing to npc. Those players are distributed across Slytherin and Ravenclaw to fill the existing player gaps and we run Slytherin vs Ravenclaw as expected.
Option two - For the October game, we deviate from the plan and instead run a game based on the co-operative houses: Slytherin and Gryffindor vs. Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. This would probably give us enough players overall, but as Gryff and Slyth are the two with the fuller teams, it would mean some players on those teams sitting the game out.
Option three - We run a scrimmage game completely outside of the house system. People sign up for the game from any house and are randomly distributed across two teams which are given non-house names.
Please vote, comment and if you have alternative suggestions, please leave them here. It might be too late to consider them for October, but they can be considered for future months!
Thanks guys,
