[Solved] Application Approval

Hello,

How long does it take in general for an application to be approved once it has been revised?

Mine still has two minor details to add (but I need feedback from someone first, and it takes a second to modify), but it has been modified about yesterday with Castorius's patient guidance.

I would say no more than a day, two at max. The admins are usually really quick about sorting sheets, especially for new members!

It typically does not take more than a couple of days - though it depends on the length/content of the sheet, admin availability, etc. In my experience, our turnover rate is usually pretty good, a day or two as Aisling mentioned. ^^
Once you've made all the necessary changes, post in the Sort Me! topic and an admin will review it and either approve it or return it for additional edits. If you've already had Cas's well-trained eyes on it, though, I can't imagine you'll run into much trouble once you've made his suggested edits. =]

Thank you! I'll do as you have suggested then and post it in the Sot me section. I did notice that, minutes ago, I have access to new things on the forum, like Classifieds. So something seems to be in progress.

I was going to ask this:

When my character will be sorted, is there anything I should know about the Death Eaters? Admins have informed me that, of course, due to Voldemort's death, they have disbanded, but still exist in semi-clandestine state; that some of them believe in Voldemort's return while others are seeking a new Dark Lord (Edgar believes in the latter). But besides that, is there some other information that would be useful for me to know? It would allow me to get started on some opening thread in advance. Can't wait to play!

But perhaps once I'll be sorted the answer will pop up...

Since you can see the Classifieds board now, I'll link you to this. It's a plot we've been working on, which involves sleeper agents. I believe we've gotten to the part where the sleepers have been awakened, but @Pyxis Hartridge Abercrombie @Gaius Purcell @Farren Abercrombie can correct me if I'm wrong.

I apologize if this was unclear, but you will actually need to write a roleplay response sample before you can post in the Sort Me! thread, as it is part of the required profile - one of the last sections, I believe, and it's called "Roleplay Sample". ^^

Once you're Sorted you will have access to threads that members have created to help organize any Death Eater plots! I'm not involved in any so I can't quite speak to that, but Tye (@Pyxis Hartridge Abercrombie ) may be able to help with that!

For now, just write a general sample that gives us a good idea of what he's like, how he thinks, etc. For instance, maybe he's sitting in a bar in Knockturn Alley brooding on Voldemort's defeat? If you'd like to see an example post, feel free to take a look at any of my characters' profiles.

There is a roleplay sample included in the submission I sent Castor. I think it's in the sandbox too but I'm not sure (writing at 1 AM does have its disadvantages).
