Frida smiled happily as she watched her new Russian friend's reaction to her story, judging by the smile on Alla's face she must have liked it. The Trickett had plenty of stories to tell, so she was more than happy to have met a new companion (or two) to share them with! The brunette downed the final amount of hot chocolate, as the blonde witch confirmed she had a room alone whilst Fri cast a beady eye down her cup double checking there wasn't a final morsel of chocolatey enjoyment left. Alas, there was not. "Sweet!" Frida exclaimed, as if she was being told that she was getting a room to herself. The Ministry employee started to muse on what she would have done if she had a room to herself at Hogwarts, like leaving her clothes on the chair instead of being told to be tidier, cartwheeling around the room without fear of bumping into another person's bed, running around the room, dancing, bouncing on the bed! The enthusiastic woman still thought it'd be lonely, but she could have done all the things that she did now, a whole decade earlier!

"Oh," she smiled, "that is good then." The Trickett giggled when Burmin was mentioned, and she took a second to glance at the skeleton beaming affectionately at him. "Well, I guess he is good company, isn't he!"

She was going to Russia and she was speaking Russian! What would Otto say when she told him of all her daring adventures in Russia with her new friends? She'd have to buy him a souvenir! And Ragna and Islof would need stuff... Maybe she could find something for Esja, and her mum and dad deserved something too! How would she get everything back? Oh well, she mused as she beamed, I'll figure it out. The Trickett looked to Alla with a triumphant, proud look, absolutely ecstatic that she succeeded in saying something in Russian. Fri decided to try it out one more time, because she wanted to make sure she had it and it sounded fun when she was saying it! "Moskva, tancujoosh-hajaa ovca!" she exclaimed, clapping her hands excitedly, eager to go on this spontaneous adventure. "Really?" she asked Alla, a childish merriment and impatience spreading across Frida's face, as the Trickett hopped off the stool and bounced on her toes, waiting for Alla and Burmin to be ready, the soup she had ordered entirely forgotten. "Let's go! Let's go!" the high-spirited woman cried, as she bounced eagerly alongside her new Russian friend, letting the blonde and her skeleton take the lead as they headed for the wonders of Moscow.

"Burmin is perfect company," Alla said, looking at her skeleton fondly. "And he is always so helpful, carries things, brings me items I need... He's both servant and friend." The Russian witch blushed ever so slightly, realising that even in a thoroughly magical environment her comments might be perceived as weird.

When Frida repeated the name of their destination, Alla nodded. That would do. It did not sound like when a native speaker said the words but Frida did pretty well. There was still a little risk left that she would not end up at the desired location but that was a risk they had to take. In fact, the closer they came to travelling to Moscow the more feared Alla that it would be a kind of culture shock for her new acquaintance. The excitable young witch she was facing was so unlike any people she knew from Russia.

They approached the fireplace of the Leaky Cauldron, looking like a rather unusual trio, consisting of a bouncing English witch, a still soaked Russian witch and an animated skeleton. Alla took Frida's high-spirited exclamation as a sign that she was ready to go.

"Step in and pronounce everything exactly as you did before," she instructed and waited for Frida to disappear before stepping into the fireplace herself with Burmin at her side. She took some floo powder and threw it down, speaking the words of their direction very clearly. "Москва, танцующая овца"

[Alla out]
